Jewels From The Crown Any good hockey friendly bars in LA?

A little new here to LA and was looking for some help from LA Kings fans.

Any good hockey friendly bars in LA to watch the playoffs at? Bars that will give you more than one small TV in the corner and maybe even will give you volume? Not only for the Kings games but especially for some of the other games? <<cough...Canucks fan...cough>>

Aiming more for Santa Monica, West LA area.

I know down in the Southbay we got good action at the following:

Fat Face Fenners (bruins fan owner) - Hermosa Beach

Sharks Cove - Manhattan Beach

Redondo Beach Cafe (Montreal Habs fan owner)

Good luck against the dastardly Sharks. I am quite happy no Nuck/Kings matchup this year, I now have second team to cheer for.

Nucks Misconduct ATTN: Los Angeles based Canuck fans!!!

Here is a line of cheaper tickets for the Kings / Canucks game October 15h.

This is organized and set up by Canadians Abroad - an Expat group down here in Socal.http://www.canadiansabroad.com

I think it is $66 for lower level seats (way cheaper for upper level)). Still a pretty good price and you get to sit with a group of Canadians.

Not sure if you have to be a Canadians Abroad member or not to get them (worth joining - they organize a load of cool events each year - many hockey related). Follow the link and let me know.

Straight Outta Vancouver ESPN Rumour: Timberwolves and Grizz swapping picks?

"The Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves are close to swapping first-round draft picks, a source with direct knowledge of the situation tells ESPN.com's Andy Katz.

The Timberwolves would send their 16th overall pick to Memphis for the Grizzlies' 25th and 28th picks (djturtleface: I swapped this around so that it would be correct, although the original article misprinted that the Grizz would be trading 16 for 25 and 28.)

I am not sure what to think of this yet. How about you?
