Silver Seven 2011-2012 Training Camp - Forward Line Combinations

With the 2011-2012 Ottawa Senators training camp roster being released today, I was sitting in my appartment in France thinking of nothing but hockey.  Without an X-Box and the newest version of NHL 12, I started sorting through the Senators 37 invited forwards that were split up into three teams. The official camp roster also features 16 defensemen and 6 goalies.  With two of the three teams playing with five defensemen, that leaves me with no fun to analyse, ponder, discuss, examine, re-analyse, and decide which players are best suited to play with which players in a training camp setting.

Before introducing the lines, I would like to state that I am one who is really looking forward to a year of development, and believe this should be a large part of the season this year.  Having said that, the main focus of this season for Bryan Murray, Paul MacLean, Mark Reeds, Dave Cameron, and the rest of the Senators staff must be to win.  With that in mind, my 2011-2012 training camp line combinations after the jump.

WARNING: This post is terribly long. My apologies.

I am a member of the media, therefore I watch no hockey games and believe that Jason Spezza is still a defensive liability and one-dimensional player, and is not an elite number one centre in the NHL
