Mocking The Draft 7 Round Mock Draft and UDFA Listings

Alright, I waited, waited and waited some more. I asked for needs and got feedback. I waited till the offseason AND I even looked up FA. Who could be on the block and ALL that. Here's my 7 round mock draft. plus some UDFA going to some teams. PLEASE give good feedback and not the whole " I don't like the pick", give me something that could help my next mock.

Also, I started this last week and new news hasn't been added into the equation. Sorry guys. I got the draft order from Walterfootball and the prospects list and rankings from CBS draft prospects. Also, If I added a player twice....tell me. Thanks

Mocking The Draft Montell's top 5 Trades that need to go down

Good news, the 7 rounder is almost done. So next time I post, I'm gonna have 7 rounds of draft goodness PLUS some bonuses on the mock. Stay tune for that please. For now, I sit down and thought of 5 trades I think need to go down. Here are my ten, in no order. Hope you like.

1. Arizona moves 2nd round pick, 2012 3rd rounder to Philadelphia for Kevin Kolb

- Arizona is not making a coaching change which means they probably will be one of the many teams looking to add a veteran QB. Many people think the Eagles won't move from that 2 1st round price, I think they will instantly. With the time out between the 1st and 2nd round, those early 2nd rounders become great picks. I think unless a team above Arizona offers better, I think this MIGHT be Philadelphia's best offer.

2. Buffalo sends Lee Evans to Atlanta for a 3rd and 5th round pick

- For Buffalo, I believe with Stevie Johnson, you have a real #1 and I think you can go with him for next season. Lee Evans is what I believe is a good player on a bad team.Getting a 3rd round pick and a 5th rounder, you can find a replacement for Evans between there and in FA. For Atlanta, you learned the hard way that NOONE believes Malcolm Jenkins is a threat. Time to upgrade opposite Roddy White and Evans could be a very good #2 WR

3. Carolina moves DeAngelo Williams and a 6th round pick to Indianapolis for a 2nd and 5th round pick

- Like most draftniks, I believe Colts are going OL with that 1st round pick. I think they also grab a top OL in FA this year ( Tyson Clabo? Jammal Brown? Logan Mankins?) so why not get someone to have out the backfield with Manning. Addai, Brown and James are solid backs, but none really strike fear into me. I think Williams would be a MONSTER for Indy on the turf.

4. New York Jets move Kris Jenkins to Houston for a 4th round pick

I know, I know, I know. Jenkins is a key member of the Jets. However, man's been hurt for 2 seasons now. I almost placed a 3rd round pick but with no real NT top of the drafts, I dobut Houston has a better choice then this considering the team has to upgrade the new 3-4 DL and DB's. For the Jets, I gave them a replacement in my draft AND they could use extra picks considering they will be needing to replace a boatload of starters in a couple years.

5. Willis McGahee to New Orleans for a 3rd round pick

For Baltimore, you gain a extra pick in a spot where DOZENS of RB's will be there to be picked. I believe Baltimore will pick up Champ Bailey in FA so I think they get a upgrade at CB leaving OL, DE and RB as candidate for a upgrade (along with another CB, WR, S as well). For New Orleans, you just saw the whole Ryan Matthews fiasco in San Diego, even if your drafting a RB, have someone who you feel comfortable giving the ball too 15-20 times.

What do you think?

Mocking The Draft Why Shouldn't Terrelle Pryor Go Pro?

I'll be the first to admit, I'm not the biggest draftnik when it comes to weaknesses. But once the Ohio State players were suspended, I thought was: "Must mean Pryor is throwing his name out there"

But almost every draft person I respect said "Oh no, He should stay in college another year"

Why? I believe Pryor should go pro if he wants to be a QB. If that's what he wants, does 8-9 games ( will they have a Big 10 title game?) next season really help his stock next season? The issues I'm hearing with Pryor is: he can't really throw short to medium passes...can't that be fixed? What's his draft stock? 4th round? 5th round? I'm also under the assumption: Even if he switches position, why would someone say "Hot dog, he's a 1st round pick!" when Matt Jones had problems in the pros. I don't see any situation where he should be taken in round 1.

Also, has Tim Tebow and Joe Webb though us nothing? In a draft full of project QB's, Pryor has the upside to be decent (at least to me). If your Buffalo, Washington, Seattle or even Arizona, teams that have some defensive issues and would rather spend draft picks on defense early, what's the risk in taking Pryor in round 4 and developing him, grooming him to be a solid QB who can take over the team in 2-4 seasons? If not, then you can develop him into this Defensive End, Tight End or WR if you want.

Thoughts?

Halos Heaven Questions and Comments from a New Angels Fan

I'm somewhat of a new Angels fan. I started cheering for the Angels last season when I decided to find a team to support. My goal is to be a sportswriter with and baseball was the only sport I didn't really dip into. Even though the Angels did not a winning season, I found myself oddly liking this team. That (with the fact I don't respect teams who just buy players) being a Angels fan was a easy choice. I look forward to writing more as the season gets closer.

Now, I have a couple questions: What's up with the Angels this offseason? Why are we so quiet? Besides the two middle relievers we've added and the Beltre talks (which I think is solid for 75 mil, terrible for 95 mil) what's going on? Also, I was wondering: who's leading off for the Angels next season? I heard Scott Posednik talk and I'm curious of how good a fit he would be. Could the Angels look at someone like Jose Reyes?

Can we make a upgrade on the pitching? Could someone like Soriano be a decent closer, allowing Rodney to be the set-up guy? Why aren't we looking at a Jeff Francis or Carl Pavano?

Is the lack of money? developing the young guys? I'd like to know. Thanks!

Mocking The Draft Do the Panthers Keep Jimmy Clausen?

After watching the Steelers-Panthers game, I guess the Panthers are going to take Luck if he comes out. John Fox will be let go and the team will be heading in a new direction. I have a could questions surrounding Clausen.

Mocking The Draft Mock Draft 2.0

- If I added players twice, just tell me. It's 5 in the morn, I'm on a energy drink and I coming down at this point. Give me feedback! Zzzzz

Round 1

Carolina- Marcel Dareus, DT, Alabama

- Clausen got a win, I think they at least give it another year for him. The D should get a nice upgrade in this draft. Carolina's DE have actually had solid seasons but DT has been a position of struggle. I feel Dareus is the best DT in the draft for the 4-3 and could help right away from a run stopping and pass rushing standpoint.

Denver- Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU

- I believe the next head coach WILL have to love Tim Tebow ( AKA: I wanna see if Jon Gruden wasn't BSing us when he said he loved Tebow) so Luck's out. Champ Bailey already made noise about leaving Denver next season, I see them replacing him. Peterson is considered a once in a decade guy so he must be the pick.

Cincinnati- A.J. Green, WR, Georgia

- Real quick question: Do you know what you get with Bengals season tickets? ONE free box of popcorn.

If I was A.J. Green, I would not go to Cincy but with T.O. oddly being kicked out and Chad Johnson being ehh, tradeable at this point, I wouldn't be shocked if Cincy dropped Owens, moved Ocho for later picks and grab Green, who we can all agree is probably the 3rd best WR coming out since 2000 ( Larry Fitz, Calvin Johnson)

Arizona- Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford

You know Zona is happy. Luck is seen as the next Peyton Manning. I like his game and believe he can start RIGHT away. I will say this about the NFC west picks: It's not about 2-3 years from now, it's about today. That division is winnable at this point for any team, if your Arizona: You can take Luck and then have a legit shot of winning a division.

Detroit- DeQuan Bowers, DE, Clemson

If he's here- You have to take Bowers and here's why: Suh is a satellite player. I feel if you place good to solid players around him on defense, they should be getting tons of chances for sacks, TFL's and INT's. Bowers is a beast and I feel could be a star in the NFL.

Buffalo- Cam Newton, QB, Auburn

The Bills are perfect for Cam Newton for many reasons. This is why in my honest opinion:

The Bills have not alot of pieces to build with. I think the Bills should go with Cam Newton. He's a potential franchise QB who has that "It" factor in college. 12-0 in the SEC, big wins against Alabama (come on, you thought they lose), South Carolina (twice) and LSU (the single reason they won that game). He reminds me so much of Daunte Culpepper. I feel Buffalo is the ONLY team in the NFL that can afford to draft him and sit him for a year. If you want to excite the crowd mid season, you can make a Cam package and bring him in Kordell Stewart style. Also, that whole "he's raw" thing is a little overblown. The man's not Tebow now. He's a better passer and a stronger runner.

With that being said: I could see the Bills take Amukamura or even Farley here. That defense is terrible.

San Francisco- Prince Amukamura, CB, Nebraska

My dad is a 49ers fan. I made this pick for him. The 49ers can look for a QB OR go with the guy they didn't want to get last season in Donovan McNabb. I say, you give the McNabb the money to bring him in and then go help the secondary. Amukamura is seen as a "can't miss guy" by many. I'm curious to see how good he really is at the next level.

Dallas- Nick Farley, DE, Auburn

That Dallas defense is worse then the Bills' D. Why? The Cowboys actually have paid free agents to be good. The Bills have drafted most of that D so I give them a pass. I think Farley is a hot name. I seen him in the top 10 for a while now, I think with the Cowboys potentially at this spot: It gives him a solid drop point.

Washington- Julio Jones, WR, Alabama

Someone who's reading is like: "ZOMG, NOOB didn't give the Redskins a QB. LOL". Here's my thinking: Mike Shanahan is a crazy man. I honestly think he's crazy enough to look at Matt Flynn and say "That guy could be the answer". My mindless prediction: Matt Flynn goes to Washington and the Skins go to the well and add a WR. Malcolm Kelly is soft as butta and Devin Thomas is gone. I doubt Moss returns so Julio Jones gets to jump in right away and become the #1 WR. ( Excuse me, Jones or T.O. because Shanny is crazy like that)

Houston- Jake Locker, QB, Washington

One of my " I like it on paper, make sense if dozen things happen" picks. I think when push comes to shove: Bill Cowher will be Houston's new coach. Why? Well $$$ and the fact this would be Houston's first chance to show: Their tired of getting 65 on their test. They have the numbers 8-8 and 7-9. Matt Schaub is a alright QB but he's not what I would call: a winner.

If Cowher falls in love with a QB, I think Locker would be the guy. I still LOVE locker as a prospect and think he could be great. I saw defense picked here and cannot be upset with that either.

Minnesota- Robert Quinn, DE, North Carolina

Steal. Ray Edwards is leaving and I think had Quinn played this year, he's a top 5 pick who everyone loves.

Cleveland- Justin Blackman, WR, Oklahoma State

In my draft, Blackman comes out and someone falls in love with him. The team who needs a QB more then anything. I think Blackman could have some potential Pierre Garcon in him (09 version) and could be really good. I don't think he's a #1 but he's gonna be good.

Seattle- Ryan Mallet, QB, Arkansas

Someone is gonna make me LOL when they say: You know, I think Carroll is gonna keep Whitehurst and Hasselback next season. Mallet is here, he probably would have been a Seahawk last year if he came out. I think Pete grabs him and sits him for a year to get him adjusted to the playbook and hope they can get a OT to protect him.

Tennessee- Travis Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma

The Titans need help on defense. After adding Morgan last season, I think you have to go LB here. To me, I think there's potential they fall in love with Bruce Carter and pray he falls to them in round 3 but I say: Go with the player who's already there.

New England - (from Oak)- Brandon Harris, CB, Miami

Patriots do things like this: Add talent on defense, worry about it later. Devin McCourty has been a stud while Darius Butler is buming it out on the bench. Harris is a stud who, other then one game, has been solid everytime I seen him.

If Harris can lock Floyd down in the Sun Bowl, I think he goes this high.

Miami- Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama

The Dolphins will 9/10 times, go into next year without Ronnie Brown AND Ricky WIlliams. I think they move away from the wildcat and go more conventional. I like the way Ingram runs and feels he could be a very productive RB who can be counted on for 25 carries a game.

San Diego- Von Miller, OLB, Texas A&M

I feel like I'm getting this pick right. I don't know any good pass rushers on the Bolts besides Phillips. I think Miller could come in and help that pass rushing. Also, is Larry English M.I.A? What's up with him? I remember people considering him a great prospect. Let's get some sack Mr. English.

English has 3 sacks this year....that's a good start.

Jacksonville- Adrien Clayborn, DE, Iowa

I know, I know: Jacksonville's new GM likes " players who are good character guys".  That's good but at some point, you need a couple rough guys on the roster because they are talented. I think the Jags DE's combined for 6.5 sacks this year. Clayborn could be a instant upgrade to me.

Tampa Bay- Cameron Jordan, DE, California

The Bucs could use some help on DE positions after adding Price and McCoy at DT. I expect the Bucs to grab Jordan, the rising star of the draft who can help right away. The Glazers are cheap, so there hoping taking him this high, he would be so shocked that they won't look at the contract number they offer him.

In all seriousness, Jordan is a good talent, should be able to help right away. You can't get to the QB, your limited as a defense.

Green Bay- Akeem Ayers, OLB, UCLA

As a Packer fan myself, I find myself battling who to pick. On one hand, we should grab a CB. Woodson is good but he's ready to be a safety. Tramon Williams is a #1 CB and we could use someone opposite of him. The other hand says: Grab more OL help. The Packers took Bulaga last season, why not add a Costanzo or Carimi? I ended up with Ayers. Why? Clay Matthews is a beast. Opposite of Matthews, the Packers could upgrade that position. Brad Jones was good as a rook, average as a Soph. I think Ayers could provide Matthews a pass rushing partner that could help Green Bay get even more pressure on QB's.

St. Louis- Johnathan Baldwin, WR, Pitt

Mark my words: The St Louis Rams will become a great offense again. Sam Bradford is in a funk ( similar to Ryan in 08 when they made the playoffs) and will be one and done. Once that happens, Bradford will bounce back. I believe Baldwin has been underrated and could be a top WR in the NFL.

Indianapolis- Derek Sherrod, OT, Mississippi St

The Colts need offensive line help. The fans want it because Manning cannot throw the ball anymore because the pass rushing in past weeks have been too tough on him. The problem with the Colts is they have no rock on the OL besides Saturday. If they had a OT they could just lock in, I think they would be better.

Oh: I was kidding about the Manning part. Heaven forbid: He struggles for a period of games. I'm sorry, he's overrated to me. I personally rather have Rivers and Brady over him.

Kansas City- Joesph Barksdale, OT, LSU

I ask KC fans this ( because I can barely watch their team, no disrespect): Has Brandon Albert and Barry Richardson been good enough to make you think: NO WAY HE'S REPLACEABLE? I'm guessing no. Barksdale is a elite OT who doesn't get respect. I like him as a prospect and anytime you have a chance to upgrade the lines, do it. There will be CB's and WR's and later rounds/free agency.

New York Giants- Kyle Rudolph, TE, Notre Dame

I see a team giving Kevin Boss like a 4 year, 30 million dollar deal. My prediction: Cleveland does that. Without Boss, you have a Travis Beckum. Let's say that again: Travis Beckum. In Madden, he's pretty good but that's it. If Rudolph comes out, he will be a steal. I think the Giants jump on that and grab him.

New Orleans- Stephen Paea, DT, Oregon St

I know some people will have problems with this pick but I ask this: If the Saints wanted a player of Jones' caliber, can they get him at the same spot in round 2? I don't think so. Jones fits the mold of great college player, who's either too slow or lacks something small that people overstate. Brandon Spikes was like that and what do you know? He lead the Pats in tackles before those issues.

(I edited this pick)

Chicago- DeMarcus Love, OT, Arkansas

The Bears need OL help. When you move around OL from OT, OG, OC and play Russian roulette...I have nothing to say.

New York Jets-  Allen Bailey, DE, Miami

When your jumping on Trevor Pryce like it's 2003, you know you need some DL help. I think Allen Bailey's stock is shrinking because Miami sucked this year. Bailey could be a solid DE who can help provide pass rushing slightly and some run defensive ability.

Baltimore- Janoris Jenkins, CB, Florida

I think the Ravens land Champ Bailey in free agency. If so, this pick becomes even more of a CB for me. Jenkins to me, is a top 10 pick. Go watch him play vs Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina: Jenkins played decently against all those teams. With this, the Ravens have two young CB's ( Webb, Jenkins) and the older CB who can teach them a thing or two.

Philadelphia- Anthony Costanzo, OT, Boston College

Safe offensive lineman win. You laugh, they play 10-15 seasons. I think Winston Justice is replaceable. Costanzo is that classic safe OT who will never get pro bowl love but every time your team wins, he's the key piece on the offensive line.

Pittsburgh- Cameron Hayward, DE, Ohio St

I love the 3-4 defense. If I was a coach, I'd run the 3-4. Just throwing that out there. Hayward seems like a classic "elite talent who doesn't do one thing thus he drops" guy.  I believe Hayward is a top 15 pick, but because he will never get 8 sacks in his career and will just dominate the run, the Steelers can wrap him up here.

Atlanta- Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue

John Abraham is solid, older, but still solid. If your the Falcons, you have so many explosive offenses in  the NFC like Philly, Green Bay, Giants (at times),  St Louis/Tampa Bay ( starting next season) and New Orleans. You need to get to the QB. Kerrigan might not start but hey, anytime you can get some cheap pass rushing, do it.

New England- Tyron Smith, OT, USC

Smart teams build on those lines. The Patriots already took defense, now lets grab a offensive linemen we can coach up and unleash in a couple season. Smith is a steal at this spot considering he could have gone top 5 in 2012. Belichick is a player and haters gonna hate.

Round 2

New England (from Car)- JJ Watt, DE, Wisconsin
Cincinnati- Rahim Moore, S, UCLA
Denver- Lawrence Guy, DE, Arizona St
Detroit- Mike Pouncey, OG/OC, Florida
Buffalo- Micheal Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
Arizona- Marcus Cannon, OG, TCU
Dallas- Darius Morris, OT, Temple
Washington- Jason Pinkston, OT, Pittsburgh
Houston- Jurell Casey, DT, USC
Minnesota- Ras I Dowling, CB, Virgina
Cleveland- Brandon Burton, CB, Utah
San Francisco- Curtis Brown, CB, Texas
Tennessee- Stefen Wisinewski, OC, Penn State
Seattle- Benjamin Ijalana, OG/OT, Villanova
Denver (From MIA)- Jerell Powe, NT, Ole Miss
Oakland- Drake Nevis, DT, LSU
Jacksonville- Kristofer O'Dowd, OC, USC
Tampa Bay- Greg Jones, OLB, Michigan State
Green Bay- Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin
San Diego- Quan Sturdivant, ILB, North Carolina
St. Louis- Mark Herzlich, OLB, Boston College
Indianapolis- Muhammed Wilkerson, DT, Temple
New York Giants- Donta Hightower, ILB, Alabama
Kansas City- Ryan Boyles, WR, Oklahoma
Chicago- Orlando Franklin, OT/OG, Miami
New York Jets- Leonard Hankerson, WR, Miami
Baltimore- Pernell McPhee, DE, Mississippi St
New Orleans- Bruce Carter, OLB, North Carolina
Pittsburgh- Nate Solder, OT, Colorado
Philadelphia- Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina
Atlanta- Titus Young, WR, Boise State
New England- Ronald Johnson, WR, USC

 Round 3

Carolina- D.J. Williams, TE, Arkansas
Denver- Kelvin Sheppard, ILB, LSU
Cincinnati- Christian Ponder, QB, Florida State
Buffalo- Jared Crick, DE/DT, Nebraska
Arizona- DeAndre McDaniel, S, Clemson
Detroit- Rodney Hudson, G, Florida St
New Orleans (from Was)- DeMarco Murray, RB, Oklahoma
Houston- Johnny Patrick, CB, Louisville
New England (from Min)- Dontay Moch, OLB, Nevada
Cleveland- Kendrick Ellis, NT, Hampton
San Francisco- Pat Devlin, QB, Delaware
Dallas- Quinton Carter, S, Oklahoma
San Diego (from Sea)- Austin Pettis, WR, Boise State
Tennessee- Sam Acho, DE, Texas
Oakland- Brandon Hogan, CB, West Virgina
Miami- Phil Taylor, NT, Baylor
Tampa Bay- Chimidi Chekwa, CB, Ohio St
Green Bay- Daniel Thomas, RB, Kansas St
San Diego- Greg Little, WR, North Carolina
Jacksonville- Chris L. Rucker, CB, Michigan St
St. Louis- Davon House, CB, New Mexico St
Indianapolis- Marcus Gilbert, OT, Florida
Kansas City- Deunta Williams, S, North Carolina
New York Giants- Greg Romeus, DE, Pittsburgh
San Diego (from New York Jets)- Christian Ballard, DE, Iowa
Baltimore- Jerrel Jernigan, WR, Troy
New Orleans- Will Hill, S, Florida
Chicago-  Doug Houge, OLB, Syracuse
Philadelphia- Clint Boling, OG, Georgia
Pittsburgh- Stephen Schilling, OG, Michigan
Atlanta- Pierre Allen, DE, Nebraska
New England- Justin Boren, OG, Ohio St

Mocking The Draft Montell's 2011 Official 1st round Mock

Round 1

Carolina- Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford

The Panthers need to look towards the future. I like Clausen but when you have a chance to take a superstar QB, you have to do it.  The Panthers can bring in Luck, then look to either move Clausen for a pick later or even more DeAngelo Williams for a pick in 2012.

Detroit- Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU

The Lions have tons of money spent on the DL and now, it's time to help the DBs. Peterson should be the guy here because I think he's the better prospect, ( like Amukamura) can move to safety if they really need him to. If he struggles as a rookie, I could see them allow Peterson to take some kickoffs and punts back.

Cincinnati- Marcel Dareus, DT, Alabama

Cincy needs a new QB but Palmer's numbers are good and won't allow that. I believe the defense will look to be upgraded. I could see Amukamura because Hall and Joesph are close to being FA's but I'll go Dareus. Tank Johnson, Domata Peko ( sorry if i messed it up), Pat Sims and Geno Atkins. I think one can be cut. Dareus can be the upgrade or the key piece to a potential 3-4 move

Buffalo- Cameron Newton, QB, Auburn

I know Buffalo fans: I don't want Newton, he's not a good QB. I heard that weeks ago. Now after two good wins vs Alabama and South Carolina in which, he used the arm, Newton should be a top 10 pick. There's 2 things I want to hit:

A) Newton compares more to Culpepper and Big Ben. His arm is alright, probably decent at best right now but given time, I could see him being a great passing QB.

B) The Bills are a perfect fit for him. They could even sit him 8-12 games and keep Ryan Fitzpatrick.

I feel Cam is a potential star QB and when you don't have one: You take one. End Of Story.

Arizona- Jake Locker, QB, Washington

Arizona fans, you almost have to do this. Hall has decent backup potential and even though you want to continue grooming Skelton, you have to take Locker. A saw dozens of A.J. Green picks here, I say this: unless you know there's a QB out there who could come in and pass to him, you cannot make that pick.

Denver-  Adrien Clayborn, DE, Iowa

I almost considered Prince Amukamura here because Champ Bailey is a FA this off season. The Broncos run D is terrible and they need a huge upgrade. Time to build the defense brick by brick. Clayborn is a great player who could come in and help fix a defense.

San Francisco- Prince Amukamura, CB, Nebraska

I'm not as high on Ryan Mallet as people think, I'll lean towards the DB help. Amukamura arguably has been the best CB over Peterson and could be considered for that top 5 spot. Nate Clements is getting older and could be moved from CB to S since Goldson hasn't played well.

Dallas- Nick Farley, DE/DT, Auburn

Marcus Spears is going to be a FA and the Cowboys can use a upgrade. Farley is a passing rusher who can be the boom on that DL. I will say this:  Don't count out Ryan Mallet for the Cowboys pick. I could see Jones look at Romo as another 1st rounder in a year or two and go for the big arm texas boy.

Tennessee- Ryan Mallet, QB, Arkansas

This is a big pick here. If YV is gone, then you almost have to envision a new QB in the fold. Mallet would probably be a decent fit here. He can throw, he'd have weapons ( Britt, Washington) and a solid offensive line in front of him. Not to mention, Chris Johnson to hand off to.

Washington- A.J. Green, WR, Georgia

Wow. I never saw this coming. McNabb might be there for a while, why not give him a weapon? I used to give Washington defense BUT I see Shanahan look and say " wow, I shouldn't take defensive players in the 1st round" and wont.

Why I say that? Who's the last good defensive player Shanny took in Denver in the first round? Trevor Price

Houston- Travis Lewis, OLB, Oklahoma

They took a CB last year in round 1 and there isn't now real DT prospects who I believe should be reached for. Lewis falls as my 3rd guy. Zac Diles is replaceable. By doing this, Houston has Cushing, Ryans and Lewis patrolling around as LB's. Scary.

Minnesota- Brandon Harris, CB, Miami (FLA)

By winning 2 games, Minny moves out of getting a QB. Now? The Vikings have to look at that defense. I considered both Miami guys, Harris and Allen Bailey. I picked Bailey because I feel the CB's of Minnesota could be worst next season then the DL. Winfield is getting up there, Griffin is oft injured and Cook is not ready yet ( I like him though)

Cleveland- Julio Jones, WR, Alabama

The Browns would love A.J. Green but Washington gets him. I like Jones as a prospect and I feel he can be a solid #1 WR in this league. The Browns could use Jones to not only help Colt McCoy, but to help Massaquoi get open more AND Hillis to allow some more running lanes.

San Diego- Cameron Jordan, DE, California

The Chargers could use this pick for a WR but I don't see it. I think the Chargers look to rebuild the defense. Jordan has been a fast riser in the past 4-6 weeks and he has the upside to be a good clog for the Chargers' defensive line.

New England - from Oakland- Robert Quinn, OLB, North Carolina

Did you see the 45-3 game? I think it's clear they more defense lol. Quinn, suspended for the season, might not be here but in my mock, he drops and would be a godsend for the Pats. Quinn coming into the year was a top 5 guy and still has talent. Imagine Bill with a defensive weapon like Quinn?

Seattle- Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma St

As much as I like the Golden Tate-Deion Butler combo, the Seahawks need a potential true #1 WR. That man has been Justin Blackmon. 100 yards in all 11 of his games this season, good hands but still slightly developing. I think you bring in Blackmon to this underrated weapons core for the 'Hawks and you have something there.

Indianapolis- Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama

HOLD ON INDY FANS!!!! PLEASE HERE ME OUT!!!!

Listen, the running game hasn't been the same since the Edge days. I understand, you have Offensive line issues but I feel Mark Ingram is a special running back. Donald Brown was overrated coming out of college and has shown nothing to prove 1st round selection, Joseph Addai should be cut and/or used less. James has been impressive but he's not that kind of running back. I feel adding Ingram into the mix gives them a actual 25-30 carry running back who can provide 150 yards and allow the defense to fall for the play action again and give Manning some MORE time.

Miami- Ryan Williams, RB, Virgina Tech

So many ways the Fins' could go here. They drafted a couple of pieces on the DL so to me, it's either CB or RB. For thier offense, I'll go RB. Ryan Williams might go back to school but I think he's a solid runner, more outside guy then in between the tackles but should be a good running back.

Tampa Bay- DeQuan Bowers, DE, Clemson

I don't know why, but Bowers ALWAYS fall in my mock. I think he's a top 10 talent but slips. Don't know what it is. For this young Tampa defense: Your gonna play Andrew Luck, Matt Ryan and Drew Brees 6 times a year, Bowers could only help with his pass rushing ability.

New York Giants- Quan Sturdivant, ILB, North Carolina

I like Goff, but I feel he's more of a backup. In the 20-30 range, there's always one solid, but reached pick and Sturdivant is that guy. I feel he's just a overall solid ILB who can make solid plays and do well in run coverage.

St. Louis- Ras I Dowling, CB, Virgina

Should the Rams take a WR? I think they do in rounds 2-4 to add to the team. For now, it's built on the defense. Dowling presents a great chance to boost the secondary. Similar to Peterson and Amukamura, Dowling can play CB or play S

Jacksonville- Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue

Jags are tough to pick for. I will say this, I think it's a defensive pick who can come in right away and help in some fashion. I'm not the highest on Kerrigan but he has a great motor and has shown this past season, he can get to the Quarterback. After hitting on the Alualu pick, Kerrigan could be another solid player who comes in and helps right away.

Kansas City- Janoris Jenkins, CB, Florida

WR, CB or NT are the 3 positions I go back and forth on with the Kansas City Chiefs. I picked Janoris Jenkins. I believe Flowers is a top 10 CB in the NFL but Brandon Carr is decent. Jenkins could be a CB who gives you depth and could actually blossom into a #1 CB in the NFL

Chicago- Derrick Sherrod, OT, Mississippi St

Short and Sweet: Watch the Bears game where Jay Cutler moves around more then a kid who has to use the bathroom and you know, this pick is all OL.

Baltimore- Aaron Williams, CB, Texas

Baltimore needs another CB. Right now, they looked bad in some games because they couldn't cover. Right now, Fabian Washington, LaDarius Webb and Josh Wilson could be a solid tandem but there's no #1 CB there. Aaron Williams could be the missing piece to all this.

Philadelphia- Stephen Paea, DT, Oregon State

Philadelphia likes small defensive tackles. There's a couple positions the Eagles could upgrade. I think Paea could be the guy they target. Paea could be a solid DT who could get sacks and help in run support. I feel he's solid but he's more 19-30 then 11-18 in terms of drafting position.

Green Bay-Brandon Burton, CB, Utah

With James Starks looking alright, I think the Pack could go too look at the D.  Charles Woodson has aged and could be moved to safety in a season or two. Right now, Burton could be a solid fit opposite of Williams and the Packers like taller CB's/ Burton is 6-1.

Pittsburgh- Anthony Costanzo- OT, Boston College

Similar to Chicago, unless a monster size steal for here, lock the Steelers for a OT

New Orleans- Lawerance Guy, DT, Arizona State

Sedrick Ellis is a nice young DT but New Orleans never built anything around him in terms of the DL. I think the Saints need to upgrade the DT spot. Guy is a stud in my opinion. I think he'd fit the scheme as well, he can help on blitzing and run support ( eventually, he needs some help on run support)

New York Jets- Johnathan Baldwin, WR, Pittsburgh

I think Braylon Edwards will get a nice deal, a really nice deal that I doubt the Jets offer. Baldwin will be sitting right there to help replace him. I don't know how good Baldwin is, he's shown dozens of flashes in the 2 years he came on the scene.

Atlanta- Malcolm Floyd, WR, Notre Dame

The Falcons have Malcolm Jenkins who's good but probably not that good and could be upgraded. Floyd the season before was a stud when he played with Jimmy Clausen. With all the ND QB's he couldn't figure it out and was double teamed

New England- Cameron Hayward, DE/DT, Ohio State

Cameron Hayward is solid and probably a better run defender who can make all the plays. The Pats always grab players like this. Hayward would be a great DE opposite of Ty Warren.
