How the Media (OK, SFGate) predicts a Cal Upset over SatanFraud
If you’ve been following Steve Kroner’s series of the Biggest Big Game upsets at SFGate.com, you may have noticed that Monday’s recounted Joe Kapp’s final Big Game victory (and final game) as head coach of the Golden Bears in 1986 (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/11/14/SPEC1LUN1O.DTL) and Friday’s reviewed the Cal win from 1970 (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/11/18/SPJP1M0S3C.DTL). So how does this lead us to the conclusion that a California victory is in the "Cards"? Well, the series was about Big Game upsets, which would mean a Cal victory this year; second, this is the last Big Game for a Kapp at Cal; and third, what number was the Cal starting QB wearing in 1970? Interpret this as you wish, the source is the Chronicle after all.

Just out of curiosity, is anybody else having trouble getting on the Bear Insider boards? I can’t seem to call up any of the forums on Scout.
