Site Founder: Welcome to Loud City
Current Project: Keeping my Wife Happy :p

You can pretty much thank me for the Thunder moving here, I mean seriously, how many people can be a fan of a team across the entire country and have that same team moved to your home state, a state that has previously never been home to a major sports team? I mean seriously, you can't make that stuff up!

...bottom line is you're welcome, my favorite team, the Seattle Supersonics, moved to my home state to become my new favorite team the Oklahoma City Thunder!

Pleading His Case: Serge Ibaka

56

The Oklahoma City Thunder finished out play for the Orlando Pro Summer league on Friday, and I came away with several thoughts. The three biggest things I walked away from the OPSL thinking were Russell Westbrook is already too good for Summer League, James Harden was a phenomenal choice that improved this team the instant his name was announced, and Serge Ibaka is pleading his case to cross the pond this year.

SB Nation Adds Mobile Commenting and Retweeting

+

We are always working to evolve our platform here at SB Nation and we have two exciting new features to announce this morning: Mobile Commenting and the ability to retweet posts that you find interesting. We are very excited to introduce mobile commenting to the platform. You can now sign in to each blog you are a member of and comment in GameThreads from the game or the bar or participate in an interesting discussion happening on a blog from anywhere with your phone. There are two things to note in this release of mobile commenting. First, mobile login is not network wide. You must sign into each community individually. Second, we did some cross browser testing with as many phones as possible, but we cannot test each phone. If you have any issues with mobile commenting please let us know at support@sbnation.com or using the contact form at the bottom of each page in the network. Please be sure to provide your phone model and browser type along with a very detailed description of the problem in your email. We are also very excited about the new retweeting feature. If you see a post that you find interesting and want to share it via twitter, now you can with just one click rather than copying and pasting the link. We're excited to see how you use the new features!

A Round of Applause...

Over the past couple of weeks you may have noticed my absence from the site. Those of you who are regular readers know that I've been on a bit of a vacation. I know, I know, what the hell am I doing taking a vacation during the week of the NBA Draft?

2009 NBA Draft Coverage: In Sam Presti We Trust (Thunder GM)

52

As we inch closer and closer to the 2009 NBA Draft, I thought it would be fitting to make very clear of one thing, In Sam Presti We Trust. The moves he's made since joining the organization have been cold and calculated as he attempts to completely rebuild this team, for the long haul, and from the ground up.

Please Stand By: New Content Returns Next Week

33

I guess its a little obvious that new content from WTLC has slowed down a little bit lately, and just like all of you, the life of a blogger tends to get busy when real world issues start to pop up. For the past week I've been running a bit short on time due to some unexpected extra hours at my real job.

SBNation Mock Draft at Ridiculous Upside: With the 3rd Overall Pick, WTLC Selects...

4

From WTLC: Well, actually, his write up took up a lot of space and since his team already hijacked the Seattle Supersonics, I decided I'm taking a stand and not letting him hijack my blog as well. Make the jump!

2009 NBA Draft Coverage: Hello, My Name Is Stephen Curry

17

Hello, my name is Stephen Curry. By now, you should know all about who I am, but just in case you don't, I'm here to tell you a little about myself and why the Thunder should select me with the #3 overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, which is set to take place at the end of the month (June 25th).

2009 NBA Summer League Schedule

+

he most important thing for us D-League followers is that the D-League Select Team (I'm working on learning the roster) will have play the Timberwolves, Kings, Nuggets, Trailblazers and the Suns. I'm most excited to watch the D-League vs. Suns game with Phoenix Stan - should be quite the barn burner. After the jump, I've typed the entire schedule out for you, loyal reader. This week I'll try confirming more Summer League roster players, so stay tuned! Myself, along with a myriad of other SBN bloggers will be down there as well - I'm getting excited - So seriously, save the date. It's going to be be awesome like Slater and Jesse duets, minus the heartbreak - hopefully.

Real Thunder Players, Fake Comedic Afro's: Nick Collison

20

So it seems like every time I feel guilty about not getting any posts up, I turn to graphics to make you guys happy. Usually it's in the form of a desktop wallpaper, but today, thanks to a little inspiration from 4D, in the comments area of this post, it comes in the form of some good old fashioned Afro Comedy.

2009 NBA Draft Coverage: Hello, My Name Is Jordan Hill

10

Hello, my name is Jordan Hill, and that's me pictured above. I look a little dejected up there don't I? Well, why do you suppose that is? I'll tell you why, because in the last month I've gone from being discussed as a likely candidate for the Oklahoma City Thunder to almost becoming an afterthought here lately.

Dwight Howard Loves Vitamin Water (See the New Ad Set to Run Tonight)

4

So it's not all that often that we get off topic here at WTLC, but I guess this post isn't entirely off topic since Dwight Howard is playing in the NBA Finals tonight, and the new Vitamin Water advertisement featuring him is set to air during said telecast.

2009 NBA Draft Coverage: Hello, My Name Is Blake Griffin

44

Hello, my name is Blake Griffin. How come a blog about the team in my home state is giving all these other potential picks a chance to speak out and let the world know why they are the right fit for the Thunder, when I haven't been given the opportunity yet?

2009 NBA Draft Coverage: Hello, My Name Is Ricky Rubio

29

Hello there, my name is Ricky Rubio, and in general, I'm a pretty soft spoken shy person. If you are a fan of the NBA and following all of this crazy draft coverage, you might not expect that, especially with all the rumors that I would only come to the NBA if I'm drafted by a large market team.

Welcome To Loud City Welcomes Two Additions

For a blog that launched rather quietly just a few days before Christmas last year, it makes me proud to think just how far the site has come in just about 5 months of total existence (From Thunder in OKC to joining SBNation and creating WTLC).

Thabeet "Key" For Thunder At 2009 NBA Draft...In More Ways Than One.

The more I think about this upcoming draft and what we will do with the #3 overall pick, the more and more I have begun to convince myself that Hasheem Thabeet is the key to what the Thunder will do come June 25th.
