I'm thrilled with the Clippers play lately. I would prefer some more lopsided W's, but Wins are Wins. I honestly think that the Clippers are a talented team. I just want to see consistency. The long scoreless stretches are avoidable. I hope that as we win, the bench develops. A strong bench could take our team to the next level.

I hope that the chemistry remains or even improves when Kaman and R. Davis return. Those two should help the bench.

All in all, we're doing well right now! Let's go Clips!

I'm a huge Shanahan supporter. Don't get me wrong. He is better than most coaches. But practice without pads for much of the week? No wonder we're the softest team in the league. We never practice tackling. No wonder teams run on us like we're a treadmill. Shanny says that practicing without pads will leave the players fresher on gameday. That's like preparing for a marathon by running a mile a week. Do we practice without a football too?

Why have we not wrapped up any of our younger Stars with new contract extensions? I know that Cutler, Sheff, and Marshall are a little younger. But isn't Dumervil a year ahead. All I'm saying is that it is nice to be proactive in re-signing your players before they are about to become free agents. I lived in San Diego for a few years and they are always proactive in re-signing their players well before they hit free agency. They were successful in maintaining their core players and they also signed those players at bargain values. I would hate to see someone that we drafted just walk away.
