ESPN Fantasy Baseball League
So, my brother (Mr. Timmy, for those who remember) and I have an annual ESPN Fantasy Baseball league we're drafting this Saturday night. It's a 20-player league, so people actually need to know the stats, and will likely be very competitive. It's H2H points, which can be really enjoyable. We'd love to get more people to join, though my brother and I will still try hard to be the two teams playing for the championship.
Here's the link to the league office: http://games.espn.go.com/flb/leagueoffice?leagueId=132659
We hope to see some of you guys!
The Idiot's Guide to Jimmer Fredette
I’ll be the first to admit I am one of likely many bandwagon Kings fans now that BYU’s star player has been drafted to the franchise. I’ve also watched him for the last several years while attending the Y and can answer a lot of questions some may have. I hope I can be of some help.

This is an interesting article which gives CarGo some respect by Steve Berthiaume of ESPN.
A Rockies Complaint/Venting Thread
Hey guys, I'm back.
That absence from participating in Purplerow activities was needed for me to get out of baseball mode and accept the offseason as it comes
But, now that the offseason festivities have begun, I'd like to make an opportunity for everybody to get all of those complaints, what-ifs, whys and how-comes out of their system.
So, for this thread, all we will be doing is lamenting over things that have gone wrong in the organization, such as past trades, production declines in one-time greats, the seemingly cheap nature of the Monforts, and other terrible things that could not possibly be any worse. This is not to say there have not been many good things to talk about, but just for the purpose of venting all those built-up frustrations.
This thread is important as to have a place to refer people to when they start ranting about all the things wrong with the Rockies in unrelated threads. And, let's face it, there are things everybody wants to complain about that would not be appropriate in other threads. Complaints about the various methods of baseball analysis are accepted, as well.
However, please, no bashing of others on the Row.
The lamenting begins after the jump!!
Best and Worst of Rockies Games Attended
Since we seem to be having a day to reflect back on previous memories and accomplishments, why don't we take a look back at some of our best and worst memories of Rockies games we've attended?
A bit of euphoria after the jump.
The All-Time Colorado Rockies Roster
With the Rockies beginning to fade back into mediocrity, one of us fans can quickly look at the team and see signs that the season may be lost. This is hopefully not the case, as the Mets are hot while the Rockies are cooling down.
But, as I have found myself entering this pool of thought, I have decided one way to break the train of negative thinking is by instead remembering all the great players the Rockies have acquired through the years. So, on this note, I have compiled a Rockies All-Time All-Star Team which, if assembled, would have a fighting chance at winning the Series. I can only dream...
Let me know if you have any ideas on better choices.
