Now that we approach football season actually happening
I need some keeper help, from people not invested in my two teams. They have gotten markedly worse for the past few seasons. I need fresh eyes.
Team 1: I am keeping Frank Gore. I need two more keepers from the combination of Miles Austin, Joe Flacco, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Lloyd, Matt Schaub, Mike Tolbert, Wes Welker, CJ Spiller
Team 2: Again keeping Gore. The I again need two keepers from Ronnie Brown, Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis, Joe Flacco, Brandon Jacobs, Tony Romo, Steve Smith (Car), Reggie Wayne, CJ Spiller
I know who I would eventually choose, but I desperatly need fresh eyes here. I have fallen off badly in these leagues, partially because of mistakes with keepers.
Not sure who to be mad at.
Should I be mad at the NFL network in general, Time Warner for being the only major TV provider not to carry the NFL network, or the NFL for deciding that Rochester gets blacked out if the Bills don't sell out, but don't get the game broadcast on local TV because we are only a "secondary" market? All of these things make me furious, but I don't know which on makes me maddest.
The Magic Number (s) *update*
The Magic Number to clinch the American League East over the Red Sox is 9, the Yankees haven't been able make much headway there over the weekend. The Magic Number to clinch the best record in the AL is 8 over the Angels and 9 over the Red Sox. The Yankees play both teams this week, so hopefully they can make some headway there. For those who only care about to postseason, the Magic Number to simply clinch a playoff bearth is now only 1 over Texas. The next time the Yanks win or the Rangers lose, the Yankees are officially in the playoffs, but wouldn't it be so much nicer to have homefield advantage all the way through?
