Number nine on a list of the ten greatest moments of the Hornets season.
A countdown of the ten greatest moments of the past season for the New Orleans Hornets begins here at number ten.
A look at how the Hornets two year relocation to Oklahoma City still benefits both the Thunder and the Hornetes.
Sad day for Hornets fans who really liked Tractor during his years with the Charlotte/New Orleans Hornets. I know he always struggled with his weight problems and he never lived up to his lofty draft status, but I always liked Traylor and was sad to see him exit the league so quickly. No cause of death is yet known but that's not important at the time either. Rest in Peace, Tractor!
Well for the third time in his career, Chris Paul was named to one of the NBA's All-Defensive teams. He was named to the All-Defensive 2nd Team this season, coming up behind Rajon Rondo (who got first team honors). I want to not be bitter about that but I kind of am.
An analytical look of how often Monty deployed "small ball lineups" and how the Hornets responded in those sets.
"WWL is reporting that the season ticket base for the the Hornets has already surpassed the 2010-11 season total by 1,000 packages. Harold Kaufman, Vice President of Communications, has stated that 7,500 season ticket packages have already been sold for the 2011-12 season."
Dell Demps said he hasn't been contacted to be interviewed yet and Malone gave the required "I'm entirely focused on the Lakers" quote but this is good for Malone and good recognition for the job he's done for the Hornets this season.
Before the playoffs begin, a look back at the 2010-2011 regular season for the Hornets
I was asked from the author of this site to present his argument in favor of Monty Williams for Coach of the Year on this site to gain him some more exposure. I obliged and it's actually a nice piece. Plus, anybody who isn't explicitly a Hornets fan who recognizes the job that Monty has done this year deserves a pat on the back as well!
Ewing does what Jerel McNeal and Sasha Pavlovic before him could not do and that's manage to stay past the ten day contract. Seems to be nothing more than roster insurance as I doubt he'd make the playoff roster but who really knows?
Jason Smith will get the start at center. Woe is me.
"Forgive me my press passes, but I root for Monty Williams." A powerful story -ed Don't figure there will be a links post today. This is a pretty interesting article. It talks about a very, very, very personal story involving Monty's childhood; stuff we've never heard of. It was done by the Orlando Sentinel.
They say he's a game time decision and Monty did state that if Ariza was sore before the game he wouldn't play, but if it's a move in the right direction towards getting him and Okafor back then it's noteworthy!
Oh, God, please don't let the Hornets let Washington win their first road game this season tomorrow night.
Have you ever encountered an individual, or in this case a group of individuals, and find yourself unable to comprehend what's truly going on with that particular person or peoples? One minute...
We're approaching the end of 2010 and you know what that means, a new year of hope for Hornets fans, a new year's resolution for Trevor Ariza to hit a higher percentage of his jumps hots and,...
First of all, I've wanted to write a lot more lately but finals and work are killing me. There's something about not sleeping and killing myself over finals just to be finished with that and...
Well, that's one name we can scratch off the list. After the original list of prospective owners came out a couple days ago, I was excited about the possibilities of Filo.
Out of all of the destinations, I'm more lenient towards Kansas City and Las Vegas than the others. Although I know this is still touchy, I still thought it'd be at least a tad newsorthy.
A look at how Hornet fans should weather the team's current troubles.
This could have ended up on a links post, but this really deserves it's own conversation. This would be a bad, bad sign for the team if this happened in my opinion.
A look at whether the Hornets should re-sign David West next summer, and an analysis of the complex factors at play.
In case you missed it, and hope you either watched the first half or didn't watch it at all, the Hornets finally lost their first home loss of the season today to the division rival San Antonio...
A look at Jarrett Jack's first two games as a Hornet.
Not surprising at all. Just a roster move that should be noted. I don't think it gets them entirely under the luxury tax, but it may inch them closer to it. Anyways, adios, Alexander. Hope you catch on somewhere.
Monty Williams will be on today, November 10th's, episode of PTI during their 5 good minutes section. Basically the same questions are asked. "How'd you feel about the Chris Paul situation? ...
[A little something I wrote for CBS and for a website called The Sports Headquarters. Obviously, thought I'd share it with my fellow Hornets fans here at ATH. Hope you all enjoy. - MWK.]I...
Another roster cut. Gets the roster down to 15 so the opening day team seems set. I can't say it's a surprise after the addition of Jerrells.
