Sad day for Hornets fans who really liked Tractor during his years with the Charlotte/New Orleans Hornets. I know he always struggled with his weight problems and he never lived up to his lofty draft status, but I always liked Traylor and was sad to see him exit the league so quickly. No cause of death is yet known but that's not important at the time either. Rest in Peace, Tractor!

Well for the third time in his career, Chris Paul was named to one of the NBA's All-Defensive teams. He was named to the All-Defensive 2nd Team this season, coming up behind Rajon Rondo (who got first team honors). I want to not be bitter about that but I kind of am.

"WWL is reporting that the season ticket base for the the Hornets has already surpassed the 2010-11 season total by 1,000 packages. Harold Kaufman, Vice President of Communications, has stated that 7,500 season ticket packages have already been sold for the 2011-12 season."

Dell Demps said he hasn't been contacted to be interviewed yet and Malone gave the required "I'm entirely focused on the Lakers" quote but this is good for Malone and good recognition for the job he's done for the Hornets this season.

I was asked from the author of this site to present his argument in favor of Monty Williams for Coach of the Year on this site to gain him some more exposure. I obliged and it's actually a nice piece. Plus, anybody who isn't explicitly a Hornets fan who recognizes the job that Monty has done this year deserves a pat on the back as well!

Ewing does what Jerel McNeal and Sasha Pavlovic before him could not do and that's manage to stay past the ten day contract. Seems to be nothing more than roster insurance as I doubt he'd make the playoff roster but who really knows?

It talks about a very, very, very personal story involving Monty's childhood; stuff we've never heard of. It was done by the Orlando Sentinel.

They say he's a game time decision and Monty did state that if Ariza was sore before the game he wouldn't play, but if it's a move in the right direction towards getting him and Okafor back then it's noteworthy!

Oh, God, please don't let the Hornets let Washington win their first road game this season tomorrow night.

Well, that's one name we can scratch off the list. After the original list of prospective owners came out a couple days ago, I was excited about the possibilities of Filo.

Out of all of the destinations, I'm more lenient towards Kansas City and Las Vegas than the others. Although I know this is still touchy, I still thought it'd be at least a tad newsorthy.

This could have ended up on a links post, but this really deserves it's own conversation. This would be a bad, bad sign for the team if this happened in my opinion.
