Bumgarner or Alderson?
Was looking to see if there was anything new on Tim Alderson, came across the discussion a few years back on whether you'd rather have Alderson or Bumgarner....Our fearless leader made a comment about halfway down the section. As did obsessive compulsive.

"You're battling out there to win games, but when you're not scoring runs, it's kind of tough," Sanchez said.
But Sanchez actually means it. In 5 out of his 9 outings, the Giants have not scored a run. Usually this kind of quote is hyperbole, but he means it literally.
In over half of his games started this year, more than 50% of the time, Jonathan has woken up, put his Giants pants on one leg at a time, put his glove on, and then pitched. Meanwhile, the other Giants put on their pants both legs at the same time and did not score a run.
Is there any hope at all?

Hey guys, and gals, I had a quick question that may seem simple to some, but I'm looking to buy a fitted Giants baseball hat for a recent convert to the fandom of the Giants, but I'm not sure where to look. Any suggestions on online stores, websites, actually 20th century stores one might have to drive or walk to or even take BART to?
On a completely unrelated note, do you think we could somehow trick the Yankees into taking Barry Zito for a 6 year, 140 million dollar contract and then sign CC? Just a complete perfect world dream I had the other day. Timmah, CC, Matt Cain and pray for rain sounds pretty good to me.

I wanted to see if I was one of millions reading this Giants blog, and found out although I'm not the only one in the US, there might be only one...in Thailand. Grant has gone international.
Guess I have to write at least 75 words for this to be a legitimate fanpost...In that case, how sad did Tim Lincecum look last night after Jack gave up the game-tying homerun with two outs on the first pitch fastball missed location down the middle of the plate. It looked like someone had run over his little dog and then stopped the car, got out and kicked it to make sure it was dead.
