reddit's first weekly NFL wager thread got off to an interesting start as a Bills fan pledged to get a Chiefs logo tattoo if Buffalo loses on Sunday.

Reviewing AP's Predictions For The Chiefs 2011 Season

From the FanPosts. Awesome compilation of our awful predictions. -Joel We all say them. Things like, "Mark my words," or "I 100% guarantee," or, "and you can quote me on that!" But how often does...

Jamaal Charles shut out from Madden 12 "Club 100"

14

Jamaal Charles was the only player in the NFL nominated in two areas (elusiveness and speed) but, pretty predictably, the fan vote went to the biggest "name" player in just about every category. The winners were: - Throw Accuracy: Tom Brady - Elusiveness: Adrian Peterson - Hit Power: James Harrison - Spectacular Catch: Larry Fitzgerald - Speed: Desean Jackson

No Love for Justin Houston in Madden 12

4

At least not initially. 1st rounder Jonathan Baldwin got some love a few days ago as the 3rd best rookie receiver in the game, but our third round "steal" was not so lucky. Despite being projected by many as a fringe first round prospect, Houston failed to crack the list of the top 10 highest rated linebackers in this years version of Madden. The lowest players on the list are rated at 67 overall, so we can infer that Houston's rating will start at a 66 or lower. The list of players rated higher than him includes Bruce Carter, Kelvin Sheppard, Colin McCarthy, Brooks Reed, and Casey Matthews, in addition to the no-brainier picks of Von Miller, Aldon Smith, Ryan Kerrigan, and Akeem Ayers. Hopefully he plays well enough this season to see a significant boost in future roster updates.

Football's Terrible Future If The Players Win

Regardless of whom (if anyone) you side with in this dispute, I thought this was a pretty funny take on Roger Goodell's editorial in the Wall Street Journal. Beware as there is some Not Safe For Work language.

The Kansas City Chiefs 2010 Year in Review

I had remarked in the comments that it would be fun if someone did a Dave Barry-esque satirical review of the year in Chiefs news, and when I have nothing better to do I frequently just open up...
