I was on youtube and ran by this video where todd mcshay and Mel kiper was talking about the top pass catchers in the draft(WR,TE)........Ok we all know Dez Bryant is the most polished wide out in the draft..................................But what made me happy was the two guys they said Cud probably have been the 2nd best wide outs in the draft but somethings kept them from reaching there full potential...Todd Mcshay picked Mike WIlliams he said he thinks he's the 2nd best wideout in the class..Mel Kiper picked Arrelious Benn he said Benn had basically the worst QB in the confrence and still managed to put up solid #'s he felt that if benn had Bryant type #'s he wud be in the top 15 best players in the draft....What made me smile is guess who drafted both of these talented guys????????????The Tampa Bay Buccaneers,The haven't had really a polished route runner since Keenan McKardell and Keyshan Johnson...Clayton is a big Physical WR...Antonio Bryant was good also....But i think sooner or later Benn and Williams will be the BUCS 2 starting recievers and Stroughter will be 3 WR...

If so I think the pick shud be Dezmon Briscoe (6'2 207) he's very underated he had 2 back 2 back 1,000 yrd receiving seasons tall with good speed and very very good hands......and he played with Talib...And if not WR den CB or SS-Morgan Burnett is also nice to in the 3round or 4th He's a S that is pretty good in coverage and tackling

PPL are sayin picking another DT was a stupid move...No it's not did you know that the BUCS were ranked 32nd in the league in rush defense last year?alot of the games we lost was thru the rushing game...The panthers have been killing us the past 2 years with the rush...The years we dominated on defense we had to killer DT's Mcfarland and Sapp.....And dont forget the bucs have a whole lot of pics they can trade up at anytime and we just got Benn...I think this will be a good draft just wait and see guys.....

To me that's perfect.If Stovall's work translate on the field trust me guys we are looking good.And If clayton can get that passion again like his Rookie yr. We are better then good.Bryant and Clayton/Stovall Wideout,Winslow TE/WR/SLOT,Alex Smith TE/SLOT Jackson and Campbell SLOT.We gone Create Some MMMAAAJJJOOORRR match up problems.THey fatest corner might be there biggest corner so they have to choose whether to use him on Bryant,Winslow or Stovall or clayton.So they put a slower smaller guy on DJ and Campbell,,,Can you say Throw the Deep ball???and Vicse Versa Unless you have Nnamdi Asomugha on ya team hehe.But This looks great and 1 aspect of the game we struggled at was red zone TD's we got 4 guys bigger the Larry so whheewww I like it.Just think about it guys.And We have a New OC I like the Recieving core.

 

Some Ppl are questioning the decision of letting go Buchanon.I mean come on he did coach him and know him personally.And Morris knows way more then we do lol.Morris knows what he's doing He coached these guy's we gone have some good DB's Im just worried about the D-Line.Coach Moriss is not new to the Buc's he watched these guy's over the year's so its not personal or nothing Morris just made the better decision.But Im still waiting on Mcfadden to be a Buc.Any Comments???

I dunno if you guys remember but there was the hard hitting big safety for the titans name Tank Williams he's about 6'2 220 and he's pretty fast and he can lay some wood.Being that we haven't resigned Phillips we need to look at him.And THe other tank.Tank Johnson former DL for the cowboys we need that rotational DL so we can always be fresh and he;s a pretty big physical guy.Come on Buc's, Any comments???????

After seeing the Bucs let Buchanon go and as you all know by now I believe in stats.And I think #'s dont lie.Ummm Buchanon is good but Mcfadden is bigger and just as or equally as fast as Buchanon.Ok now for stats,Buchanon started and played all 16 games for the bucs he had 52 tackles 1FF and a INT he started all 16 games.Mcfadden started onli 8 and onli played 10 and he had 41tckles,1 sack,and 2int's.As you can see there stats are similar and Mcfadden only played half the amount of time Buchanon did.And Mcfadden played with the Steelers last yr. so that means he's physical this is exactly what the Bucs are looking for.Im not a NFL anaylis or anything But it makes sense.And I think the Buc's will make a sttrrooonng push for this guy.He's a big physical bump and run corner similar to Talib just a tad bit smaller.That's why the Buc's didnt push for Greer his stats were similar to 38tckls 1FF and 2INTS he played 10 games and started 10 that's great but he and Buchanon are exactly the same size(actually Buchanon is 5IB's heavier)but he's basically the exact samething as Bucahnon there not physical.But I think if McAlister was about 28 he would be a Buc right now 2.They still might try.So don't be suprised By the bucs pushing for these guys,Any Comments?????

My Roomate has NFL sprint and he just told me Phillip Buchanon signed a 2 year deal with the Lions I haven't seen it on any websites or anything yet but he showed me the message so I guess we have lost buchanon.Coles He signed with the Bengals and Devery Henderson signed with Saints again and also Jabari Greer. And Chris Simms signed with the broncos.

Luke McCown May not have played or started many games but the ones he did play and/or start he was extremely good check out these #'s.Played 5 games started 3 67.6 completion rate that great.1,009yrds.in only 3 starts that's 250+yrds. a game.5 TD's,91.7 QB rating Perfect,and 117 rushing yards so he has nimble feet.Its 1 thing that sticks out about him tho.He's Fumble prone I think that can be fix tho.And McCown said he's "going to do everything in his will to become the Buccaneers franchise QB"He has good height(6-3) his weight is a lil low 213IBS. I didn't like Him as our starter at 1st but now I think he's the guy.Any Comments???????

Running back Derrick Ward has agreed to terms with Tampa Bay on a four-year contract worth $17 million. Ward will make $6 million in guarantees in the first year, $9.25 million over two years, and $13 million over three years. Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that New York Giants RB Derrick Ward will visit Tampa on Tuesday.

Free-agent running back Derrick Ward, whose possible signing by the Broncos could have been boosted by the collapse of contract talks with J.J. Arrington, will be commencing his visit to Denver on Sunday night, a league source tells us.

Next stop after Denver (barring a deal getting done) will be Tampa on Tuesday, per the source.

Despite reports that Ward has visited Philadelphia, we’re told that this has not yet occurred.  Ward has been visiting with the Bengals.
