Let's start it. Let's make some noise. I don't care if it's "too early in the season", better now than later when we'll probably crying over one more frustating season.

Ok, our record under his tenure as our manager isnt that bad; we lead the league in days at first place since 2007; he managed us to a postseason, etc. But I (and a lot of people) just can't take it anymore. If 2008 was awful, my poor english can't find any other word to describe the bad feeling that watching BoMel(and his staff, lets not forget) manage this team is.

First, he decides to flip-flop our batters over the lineup sheet EVERY single game, no matter how good or how bad the hitter is. I just can't count how many times he left our hottest hitter on the bench "because he's not a good matchup against that leftie, or that ace".

Then, he watches his team go hitless through 5, his ace is on the mound with a small deficit and a low pitch count, what does he do? he pulls off the pitcher for a pinch hitter that's even colder with the bat... don't need to say the result.

And what about the bullpen moves? I know we can't blame him alone, almost every bullpen arm we've got sucks, but still, let's face it, even my grandma, who don't even knows baseball exists, would not put a guy like Schoneweis to face a right handed batter; and she wouldnt continue to give chances for a rebound to a pitcher who can't stop sucking since the very first day he signed with us. But BoMel? When the game is in the line, the very first thing he does is call to the bullpen for this kind of pitchers.

The team cant run, hit for the gaps, bunt to move runners, or even make contact with breaking balls. Our hitters are always trying to hit a 5-run HR. Yes, they are not doing their jobs, but most important for me, the coaching staff isnt doing anything to change it, aparently.

I can't take it anymore, it's very frustating to watch this team suck day in day out. We may have the best pure talent on the field, but our guys are not living up for the expectations, they are not busts or something else, it's just about showing them the right way to do things, and our manager (and his staff) really can't do it. Taking Upton as an example: isnt he a 'potential' five-tool player? So, explain me why they don't send him to steal a base? He is always trying to hit a HR, isnt he supposed to hit for average too? I just can't see a brilliant future for Upton playing for us, under this management he's about to be the new Quentin.

(wow, I'm a little lost already, but let's finish)

Fire BoMel. Please.
Let's try someone else. Maybe a guy like Gibson or even Tony Clark, lol.
And let's reformulate the coaching staff too, I'm pretty sure there are good guys over the minors that could do a good job, with special atention for the hiting coah part of it.

Final note: We should keep guys like Gibson and Price(great pitching coach, can't blame him for Rauch's failure), but the rest of the staff needs a change NOW.

That's it, I'm sorry not being able to express that well in english, but I tried. Kishi will follow later to finish it in a better way, I expect.

Fire BoMel!

"After returning to the Diamondbacks via a trade in the offseason, big things were expected from Randy Johnson in 2007. However, the veteran left-hander will have surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back next Friday and will miss the rest of the season." by dbacks.com
Ok. That was expected... but what to do now that we know he's out? Give your opinion =]
