My name is Michael Gartman and I'm a 17-year-old sports enthusiast, trying to receive exposure and fulfill my dream of becoming a sportswriter.

I'm currently the top writer and Featured Columnist for the Houston Texans on Bleacher Report, the sole Fan Voice for the Texans on NFLTouchdown.com, and the AFC South Divisional Columnist for Fan Huddle.

I have also had the honors of being featured on and/or linked to NationalFootballPost.com, USAToday.com, SFGate.com (San Francisco Chronicle), Chron.com (Houston Chronicle), and CBSSports.com, among other sports sites and media outlets.

I'm homeschooled and currently live in Tuscaloosa, AL, with plans of moving to Houston in the short future. I am blessed with a God-given writing talent and I'm not going to let it go to waste.

B/R and these types of sites have given me the chance to live out my life-long dream of becoming a sportswriter and I am eternally thankful. Later on, I would like to get into broadcasting.

In honor of my record 100th article, I constructed a fictitious list of an All-AFC South, All-NFC North, and All-Female Celebrity football duel to make for an interesting twist.

I also love God, and keep family and friends close. Just before I debuted my 50th article on B/R, I decided to devote a verse of my choosing (unless one is requested) to each new article.

Aside from sportswriting, I love to dance (spec. hip-hop), travel, play sports, and spend time with loved ones.
