As a lad, at age 5, I started chasing the ball and I've been at it ever since. I played junior golf, golf in high school and college. I carried a zero handicap for years and now with a tempermental back, play to a 5 handicap. I've played golf all over the US and go out on packages to various locations several times a year.
Further, I sneak out and play lots of golf on the Grand Strand... will probably get to 170 rounds this year. I wish I could play more. I can remember playing and walking 54 to 63 holes per day - swept the dew in the morning and brought the flags in when I quit.
I've met a lot of fine people in my golfing life. Year after year since 1979, I've booked tens of thousands of packages for many golfers who've become my friends.

Myrtle Beach Golf comes to Facebook
I was looking around today and found a few great fan pages for Myrtle Beach golf that everyone should check out if you play the courses there. I have recently found a lot of golfers on Facebook and enjoy hearing about and seeing pics from the golf courses they have played around the world.
I also found a good article about the Aberdeen Golf Club, which has some of my favorite golf courses in Myrtle Beach. It is hard to pick a favorite with so many courses I know but Aberdeen is great.
Great Myrtle Beach Golf Video
This is my first Fan Post, so I hope I am doing this right guys...
Bald head Island Golf Club, located 5 miles off the coast of Southport, NC is a “one of a kind” golf course on a small island near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It has been a course that Golfmasters have recommended to our traveling Myrtle Beach golfers as an experience like nothing else in Myrtle Beach. While a bit involved to get to from the center of Myrtle Beach, it’s certainly worth the trip. There are not many Myrtle Beach golf courses that require you to board a ferry for the 25 minute ride to the island, but at Bald Head Island, it is part of the experience. The benefits are playing on a small pristine island, which do not allow any other forms of transportation other than golf carts, bikes, etc. The island really isn’t large enough to support anything larger.
