I found a pretty decent (maybe slightly biased, or maybe the Wolves are just bad) preview of the Wolves v Blazers matchup. It covers a player by player, position by position review of how the Timberwolves matchup against the Blazers.

The Blazers were basically given the edge on 4 of 5 positions... I guess I can't argue too much though, the Wolves are young and even though the Blazers are young, at least some have proven themselves.

Greg Oden reminds pretty much everyone of a young Shaq. He is was a skinny college kid going in to the NBA. Well, in the past year, he has gotten HUGE. Okay, maybe not HUGE, but big. His matchup with Shaq will be one of the best center matchups of the season. Shaq has the size on Oden, and maybe even speed (how sad is that for a young guy like Oden).

I was doing a quick search on what they call Google and found a pretty good breakdown of the Magic and Blazers matchup for the coming year. It's pretty interesting. The site that posted the article, is a Blazers fan site, yet gives the Magic an advantage in 3 of 5 positions. I think it's a good read. They do a full position by position analysis as well as a player by player analysis.
