The Next Three Series

Maybe I am a dreamer, but I still believe this team could win such a flawed AL Central. That being said, I believe the next nine games (Minn, CHI, and KC) will tell tribe fans a lot more about the rest of the year. With all the injuries and pitching woes, I think that one thing that has been overlooked by some is the number of games we have played against a very strong AL East teams (Bos, Tor, NYY, and TB) compared to the rest of the division.

I think winning at least two out of three of these series is critical and will determine what the front office will do with this team. I think if we can come out of this stretch of nine game 5GB or less, I think we might have a legit shot at the AL Central. What makes me think this? Mostly, the return of key parts like Westbrook, Sizemore, Hafner (maybe), Laffey and, Raffy R which will make July and August very good months for this team. I like the way a rotation of Lee, Pavano, Westbrook, Laffey and Huff (or someone we get for DeRosa) sounds and sets up for a stretch run to try and win the division.

This is my first shot at post something so if I did something wrong please let me know and I will correct it. Just thought I would get peoples thoughts on the next few weeks.

With all the talk about the player to be named later in the BIRD trade... it got me thinking could it be possible that Shapiro throws a curveball at all of us and one of the players to be named later ( in the CC deal) is on the current Brewers 40 man roster.... I think this is highly unlikely but anyone with more knowledge know if this is possible?? or if not has anyone heard anything more besides lucory, brantley, green, and possible cain ...
