I'm curious about Greg Ellis, who was released by the Cowboys yesterday. He could be a great mentor for our OLBs, possibly more so than Bowens. While some people see him as a complainer, he appears to be a positive influence in the locker room, and was even the union rep for Dallas players. Is he a good fit for Cleveland?

Trading Down

It is amazing how this combine has changed the draft outlook. Given all this shifting around, have our chances of trading down improved? If Curry is taken before #5, are there other players meriting a #5 pick according to the Browns needs? Crabtree? An offensive tackle? On the flip side, are some other teams, based on their needs, more inclined now to trade up? Which teams do you think might make that move? What picks/players do you think we could get in exchange?

Quinn or Sanchez

Let's muddy the waters some, just for kicks.

Assuming Derek Anderson is not our #1 man, who do you like better for quarterback, and why? Does Quinn really have the talent, and the rapport with the team, to take us where we want to go?

Sanchez will likely be around at #5 (and we can't rule out Stafford, who I guess we could include in this debate). If we traded off Quinn for a lower 1st round pick, and used it to get our outside rusher. . .
