Kimbo came, Kimbo saw and Kimbo conquered Australia defeating the Brisbane Brawler Shane Tilyard by KO in the second round.

Both fighters came out pushing the action with Kimbo taking a slight advantage in the early wild exchanges. The You Tube sensation did not have it all his way however with the Brawler putting Kimbo into a stagger in the middle of the first round with a right hook then a straight left which left the American's grill slightly ajar.

In an entertaining slugfest Kimbo proved to much for the slightly svelte Aussie with a brutal shot to the liver in the middle of round two sending him to the canvass with a grimace and an agonising 10 count.

In the post fight interview Kimbo quipped "Who knew Australians were so tough?" I can only assume he has never spoken to one for more than 5 minutes.
