http://www.sbnation.com/users/NYinCalifornia Posts made by NYinCalifornia on SB Nation http://www.bigblueview.com/2008/2/14/13111/0430 NYinCalifornia Thu, 14 Feb 2008 18:11:00 -0000 <p>According to Yahoo!, Goodell told Specter that Belichick admitted that he has been taping 2000. &nbsp;Since he became the coach of the Pats. &nbsp;Forgive me, but if that's the case, why didn't he reveal this when the original "investigation" took place and figure out what the hell happened?!?!</p><p>Oh, Goodell, if it had just been you destroying the tapes and the like, that would have been a done deal. &nbsp;But if you had known from the beginning of the season that Belichick has been doing this for 7 years, shouldn't you have said something and figured out exactly which games he was taping?</p><p>It's not about the 2002 Super Bowl or whether or not they profited from the tapings all those years ago. &nbsp;Bill Belichick should be held accountable because thinking that taping is legal is an excuse that just doesn't cut it. &nbsp;If it were, why would they be so secretive about it in the first place?</p><p>For shame.</p>
