Now listen.... im an enormous fan for over 20 years and im just posing the question... you dont have to sit here and flip out and say your so stupid to say such a thing but im just wondering...does anyone think the curse has been reversed on us. take a look at whats happened

2001 world series we lose in a terrible walk off fashion to the diamondbacks

2003- we lose to the florida marlins......the marlins

2004- the red sox come back from 0-3.....

2007- joba chamberlain gets assaulted by bugs that supposedly only come around for a small time a year and we lose the game and the series shifts and we lose out

not to mention the signings of players like... kevin brown...jaret wright... javier vazquez... carl pavano... all who were completely awful

steroid controversys with Arod Clemens Giambi and Pettite

the last year in yankee stadium we dont even make the playoffs for the first time in a long time

our new beautiful ballpark is now the center for concern to be an absolute launching pad

not being able to win a game vs the Red Sox this year
