Red Wings GM Ken Holland confirms that Jiri Hudler has left Detroit for Dynamo Moscow

Hudler is the fourth Red Wing forward to leave via free agency since July 1, joining Marian Hossa and Tomas Kopceky, who signed with Chicago, and Mikael Samuelsson, who signed with Vancouver.

The four combined for 88 goals

88 goals, 118 assists, and 206 points, and the Wings expected to lose three of Hossa, Samuelsson, Kopecky, and Hudler, with Kopecky pretty much a given...but not all four of them. Now Holland has to convince an offensively-inclined second-tier free agent like Petr Sykora, Ales Kotalik, old friend Jason Williams, or Maxim Afinogenov to take a pay cut.
