Nashville guy livin' in Birmingham

Jun 29, 2010 Jun 29, 2010 1 1

My name is Andrew Johnson, and I have been living in Birmingham, AL for the past 6 years. I came to Birmingham to attend Samford University, I have graduated and now am going through seminary at Beeson Divinity School. My hometown is Hendersonville, TN, and my heart will always belong to Nashville and the greater Nashville area, even though I don't know when or if I will ever go back. With that being said, I am a Vandy fan, and a huge Titans and Predators fan!

I didn't really care too much about hockey growing up, but I met a girl in college who is now my wife who is from Dallas, TX. She is a big hockey fan and Dallas Stars fan, and after going with her to a couple of Stars games, I became a fan and adopted my hometown team, the Nashville Predators! We have been to one game where the Preds played the Stars, and it turned out to not be that fun for either of us, so now we only try to go to games where they aren't playing each other so we can enjoy each other's company while watching some hockey.

So far, I have seen us completely focused on looking at finding another center to replace Arnott, but what's really that bad about giving Colin Wilson his position now? I know that Wilson may not quite be ready to be our top center, but even if he doesn't play center he will be playing wing, so shouldn't we go ahead and prepare him to be the player that he was drafted to be?
