As a team name it sucks. It has absolutely nothing to do with the team on the floor in terms of history or relevance to the city.

I would ask could we go back to the Bullets? I'd settle for Generals or Zephyrs. (ok maybe not zephyrs, because who knows what that word actually means at first blush.) How about Senators? It's a baseball name and it sounds really old-school but it fits and its germane to the area.

Bottom line is I don't think changing the name from the Bullets to the Wizards has had any impact on the crime rate in the District and it's time to change from the Wizards before people catch on and we are dubbed the Dumbledores or Snapes or Potters or any crude variation of those names.
