I'm a grad student at Florida State, where I also did my undergrad. I'll be starting law school at Stanford in Fall of 2010. I was born in Atlanta, raised by a lifelong Dolphins fan and I really hate when people question loyalties. I have three teams and I will fight you over them. Not really literally unless I'm pretty sauced but if it's at the game there's probably a good chance of that.

Let's Boycott Peter King

You guys ever notice how openly biased Peter King is? I've read him every Monday morning on CNNSI for I don't know how long and typically during the season he offers some interesting insights. But this off-season has been nothing but an absolute Patriots blowfest. The guy is from Mass, so it's not shocking. But in just the last three weeks he had a MMQB article talking about the Patriots with Brady back and how stellar they will be, then the next day had his SI story on Brady's return come out in their magazine. The following week we got Rodney Harrison unplugged, the exclusive we all wanted with a cheating, cheap-shotting, HGH-taking punk who Peter King loves for calling out Peyton Manning. This week he complains about it being a slow news week, tells us how the Donovan McNabb deal will affect Tom Brady's contract talks and then gives us a large book list. I only mention this because I kind of hoped to hear Si's seniormost NFL writer (now that Dr. Z is on the shelf with medical issues) write about Rex Ryan and Channing Crowder having a media war. Because I couldn't remember that happening before, as he said it was a slow news week and maybe I'm a bit of megalomaniac but I thought that was a pretty good story nationally. Yet it got no coverage. Ryan's comment about Belichek did though. In fact he hasn't mentioned Miami since a blurb after the draft. All I'm asking is do you think Miami's really that boring this offseason or do you think maybe Peter just didn't spend time on that because it involves two teams he doesn't particularly care for (Dolphins-Jets)?
