"They’re fast, really fast," said Lebda. "I played in Detroit and we had a fast team and we played a fast team game, but this team’s just fast. Everyone can skate."

I've never really liked Rosie DiManno, and I cringe every time I see her name underneath a sports article (or worse, anything related to Sundin) but I honestly almost shed a few while reading this today.

Hope he can hang on and fight this thing.

I was watching this last night (thank you sportsnet!) and it was almost as if you knew that once he got the puck he was going to score. Beauty goal, game winner, great celebration. Just another thing to get excited about for next year

Some Interesting Tidbits from the Star

"Forward Mikhail Grabovski and defenceman Francois Beauchemin almost got into a scrap at practice. Grabovski got one glove off and landed a punch on Beauchemin before assistant coach Tim Hunter and veteran forward Jason Blake got between the two combatants."

"As the Leafs' practice in Etobicoke Sunday morning, they've clearly received some good news on the injury front. Defenceman Mike Komisarek is back on the ice practicing for the first time since suffering a small tear in his quadriceps muscle on Nov. 10. It was anticipated he would miss three weeks at the time and he appears to be right on schedule."

"Komisarek is partnered with Tomas Kaberle at practice, which would suggest he will be in the lineup tomorrow night when the surging Leafs host Buffalo at the Air Canada Centre. "
