Ichiro never fails to impress me.

Ichiro might not have the image of a compassionate colleague, but as 2001 teammates quickly learned, outward impressions can be misleading. Now, 10 seasons later, young players willing to seek wisdom from a guy who has adroitly navigated the pitfalls to excellence stand to be the biggest beneficiaries of having him as a teammate.
