Rosterbation Part Deux: One crazy trade
First and foremost, this is completely unlikely to happen, just because of how well positioned in the AL West the Texas Rangers are in at the moment. But according to yahoo sports rumors the Texas Rangers are most likely not going to be able to keep Josh Hamilton after his contract is up this year. Now this is where I think the Rangers should try and get something for him. If you look at their roster right now you know this isn't going to happen, and especially with Brian Sabean as our GM. But I say try and trade for Hamilton! He fills almost everything except the whole rent-a-player thing. He's a solid defender and we all know what he can do with the bat. And if we can't get him this year, he might be the one in the Free Agency period (which is way far away, we still got a World Series to win!) that gets the Zito or Rownads contract.

Now I want to know if you want Hamilton, and if yes what would you give up for him.
I say yes and package together Jonathan Sanchez and a shit load of prospects
Bauman calls for Fielder
I'm sick of hearing this. Sabean wouldn't do it and there is no way we can get him for anyone other than Cain. Cain should be untouchable
More musings on the possible LeBron-Wade tandem
While I know most of us here do NOT want LeBron with Wade, I think I just realized if they really want to play together it'll happen. Wade isn't going to want a guy who won't fit with his playing style, if he thinks him and LeBron will fit, Wade will make it work. When Wade siad "I don't have a big ego...I just wanna win" it finally dawned on me that he is willing to be the Scottie Pippen of the team. While we know Wade is our MJ, which he rightfully should be, Wade might start taking the lesser role if it means he'll win. That being said he lures LeBron and alters the playing style so they can fit. While this means there'll probably be less looks for Wade, it also turns the focus of the defense off of him, resulting in being more open on some shots. I'm not saying the defense will be saying "Don't worry about Wade" but they'd be more focused on LeBron.
So if LeBron/LeBrat/LeBitch/The Queen does infact come to Miami which seems like there is a strong chance of that happening, it'll probably take 10 games for us to chill, stop pulling our hair out saying "WTF James?!?!?!? Wade was wide open!!!!!!!!" and realize a good thing is happening
But right now we can still be anti-LeBron
Fred Lewis is now a Blue Jay
yahoosports
Speaking of Number 29
This sounds a lot like the Pete Kendall or Chris Baker contract situation, the front office makes brilliant moves, but when it comes to negotiations they are scumbags is what I am hearing
Post Finals: Rosterbation
Things to keep a tab on are the Raptors making the playoffs if they make it we get the first round pick, which would be bodacious. But aside from that after the Heat beat the Denver Nuggets to win the NBA finals, yes I am calling it B!, and Wade is given a new contract, then the big thing is free agency. I think Bosh has to be the top priority even though the thought of LBJ and Flash together is beautiful. If you can't get Bosh then Am'are and if you can't get him Imma say David Lee would be a better fit than Boozer. Address a shooter in the draft (Luke Babbitt of Nevada-Reno). And sign a PG who is a distributor, although Arroyo has been playing great as of late.
Maybe I am just going crazy, yeah I think it's that
Sanchez wooing Marshall?
This is just what it is, a rumor but still interesting how the Broncos don't want a first rounder

The Jets are humans, yes I am talking to those Dol-fan assholes!
LT, Marshall, Leon, and an ad
Leon will most likely be re-signed. But this is the same GM who said Kerry Rhodes will be a Jet

Cimini thinks so!
DW1 suspended two games
look for James Jones and Dae-Dae to fill the slot
Tomlinson to stay the night in NY
Nothing big, if you really want him though you'd better be praying!
Greetings from GGN!
Hey guys I am fan over at Gang Green Nation, the SB Nation Blog for the Jets, and we are doing a community draft thing for our site. So in doing this each one of the users will pick a team, hence me getting the Niners, and are going to scout team needs most likely possibilities come draft day so if you could help me supply your team needs that'd be great!
The only thing I think you need is a tackle but after all I am an ignorant New Yorker. :)
Oh and BTW I am a SF Giants fan and am STOKED for the season!
Beat LA
Faulk re-signs with BeliCheat
The market for Leon just got smaller :D
Jeff Garcia, our back up?
I'd say let this go to a pursue or no but we could have found our mentor for Sanchise
Jets offseason (Madden 10)
On my madden season this is how our offseason goes including draft.
1.) Jets re-sign the following: Leon Washington (5 years) T-Rich (1 year) Marques Murrel (2 year) and Jay Feely ( 1 year) Smithy (2 years) and Eric Smith 3 years.
I'd be pretty happy with that!
Jets lose Marques Douglas to the Chargers (WTF?) and Thomas Jones to the chiefs :( Kellen Clemens to Raiders
Jets aquire Coles and Mark Brunell (interesting)
Draft after the jump
Jets players pissed about TJ
Players aren't to happy with the TJ cutting. Neither am I damn it!
Wade out for the weekend
If you have insider it has been reported that Wade won't play this weekend
A look around the AFC East
I just got done watching LOST and I felt like diving into some analysis. So herein lies my post of AFC east Teams before free agency
All are being listed by where experts* predict the team finishing in 2010 2011 season
The New England Patriots: The Pats are getting older but the reason experts have them ahead of the Jets or Dolphins is the fact that they have experience. In free agency look for the Pats to add a young quick RB (Leon Washington :O who better not go to them!) and some youth in their offensive line. I'd also say look for them to add some depth at DL, LB, and WR! Due to the fact Welker was injured and they have to start finidng a replacement for the slouch.
The New York Jets: We all know what our Jets need: Pass rusher, secondary help, and a slot receiver. If the Cardinals cut Antrel Rolle look for the Jets to pursue him and deal Kerry Rhodes if things don't go according to plan. If that happens expect a CB coming in and the first round pick going bye bye. I'd personally like to see Kyle Wilson of Boise (even though I hate the Broncos as much as I hate the Dolphins!) or Jared Odrick. If The Jets don't think going with Odrick will be a good idea or they know they can't get the 1st round pick, look for a name who wasn't in football this year Travis LaBoy. He was cut by Arizona (I am not saying all players for Arizona are good.) and he would take a significant pay cut and provide a good pass rush. Also in the picture Adalius Thomas, Joey Porter, Nnamdi Asomugha :P.
The Miami Dolphins: The Dolphins are better than what their record said, better than what experts* say and better than we give them credit for. The Jets and the Dolphins are going to be the two dominant forces in the AFC East. The Patriots are marching toward the end of brilliance unless if Tom Brady and Belicheat can work some vodo magic. But back on the Dolphins they have a young QB who could be pretty damn good, two good CB who pose big problems and a pretty good Kicker (Kickers score points thats why its important). Not to mention some guy who burned us on two kickoff touchdowns. The Dolphins are a play making WR and a pass rusher from being a great team.
The Buffalo Bills: They need help and Chan Gailey sure doesn't help them. With a young pass rusher in Maybin they should look to build around him.
Mohawk spreading across the bay???
As we have all noticed our closer Brian Wilson sports the most disgusting hairstyle in all of baseball, or maybe even the world. The Warriors' CJ Watson sports an odd lookin mohawk also. And now Pablo Sandoval is sporting a Watson-like mohawk. Did I miss the memo or is the mohawk the new thing now? Also who else thinks that this season will be good no matter the outcome?
I know I am excited to see the pitching and Panda and DeRosa!
Go Giants
Rosterbation Pt 1 of 1
So in a crazy world here is something that could maybe happen.
A fantasy NY Jets Offseason
1) New York Jets sign Darren Sharper to a 4 year deal
Why: Gives the New York Jets the starting safety they envisioned Kerry Rhodes being.
My two cents: Kerry Rhodes will remain a NY Jets and Sharper a Saint, but if Ryan and Kerry don't agree and we can somehow get Sharper believe me it will happen.
2) (Corresponding with Sharper signing) The New York Jets trade Kerry Rhodes, Kellen Clemens, David Clowney, and their 4th round pick to the Raiders for, Nnamdi Asomugha.
Why: Because that'd be so freaking badass
My two cents: This is why the title is Rosterbation :P
3) Ny Jets resign T-Rich
Why: The dude is the best blocking fullback
MTC: I hope this one happens no matter what.
4) NY Jets steal Chad Pennington and Anthony Fasano from the Phins
Why: Provides a good back up, insurance if Sanchez gets hurt. Provides a good blocking tightend and another passing threat
MTC: I could see the Pennington deal happening. Fasano I think they might franchise
5) NY Jets draft Golden Tate
Why: Provides the passing threat, and insurance if Braylon gets suspended (which he will) and also makes Braylon work for his money.
Season prediction: 13-3 Win the Superbowl with a 37-21 win over the Eagles
Haha who am I kidding. leave your input down below and discuss about our team
Revis Island and Asomugha?
Nnamdi "however the hell you spell his name" Asomugha said he and Revis want to be on the same team. Tim Graham reported on ESPN.com. Just think we could trade Lito Sheppard and a draft pick to get him.
Thats where I have the problem
I'd love to freakin have Nnamdi Asomugha on our defense because we would be feared. The passing defense would be the greatest. The only problem I have is draft picks, this year we need to build through the draft. A wide out and an end maybe even a safety. But then again its not too often when you get a top corner in the league and it would force opponents to throw at Darrelle. Heck if the Kerry Rhodes thing doesn't work we trade him for Nnamdi. Still something just makes my stomach churn
Would you trade for Nnamid or not?
I want Rhodes to be a Jet!
To be honest with you our Jets shouldn't trade Kerry Rhodes. The dudes is a stud and I believe he hasn't even scratched the surface of what his game can be. A meeting with Rex Ryan about what he invisions Rhodes being would be the start of something good, think about how good our defense could be! Kris Jenkins, Shaun Ellis, A Pass Rusher TBA,The two-headed monster of Scott and Harris, Revis, Another CB, Jim Leonhard and Kerry Rhodes. On paper thats great! So why would you want to trade this guy.
He announced he wants to come back! I sure as hell want him back! How about you?
Shaun Ellis has been added to Pwo Bowl to replace Mathis

The Good The bad and The Ugly: A Recap of 09-2010
Well after a great unexpected run in this years playoffs, I have thought about the highs and lows and the unbearable things.
Good:
Rex Ryan as our Head Coach, Sanchise, Revis Island, Our defense, Shonn Greene, Jimmy Leonard, Kerry Rhodes ( after the benching) A definite identity Mark Sanchez's maturity
Bad:
Late game defense, DB's in big games. Steve Weatherford, Injuries, The Dolphins games, Brian Shottenheimer.
Ugly:
Mark Sanchez's mistakes, Neons broken Leg. The loss againts the Patriots
all of these can only get better from here. So keep your head held high. and remember
AND THE HOME OF THE....JETS!
CBS Hates the Jets
According to Yahoo Sports, CBS will not be rooting for the Jets this sunday. Why you may ask because if the jets win their projected viewers would go down a seemingly big amount. The ideal match is a Peyton vs Favre deal. SO that would be big and have many viewers.
Don't believe me here is the link

Just like Rex Ryan said, 3 Teams and The F***ing Jets!
Superbowl belongs to the NY Jets
Not counting my chickens yet but...
After the Jets win 20-17 (yes I am sure they will win) and Shaun Ellis is healed, it'll be time for the Super Bowl! I am fired up for this because of one familiar son of a bitch named Favre. I hope we get to play him just so we can kick his butt up and down the football field, plus its in Miami! I'd love nothing more then beating Brett the Damn Jet infront of Dolphins fans!
Plus it'd make one helluva Kissing Suzy Kolber story which I am in the mood for!
