ESPN.com has posted their "Dunk of the Night" and the title reads: "Derrick Favors goes in strong for the dunk on Marcus Camby".  How the heck does Camby get dunked on when he didn't even play ... was he even in Utah?!? I love that they put so much effort into this video post ... did they even watch it?!?  Good old ESPN ... can we see some classic highlights of Bo Outlaw before he got traded to the Clips?

I have no clue as to what he is going to be talking about but if you aren't listening to 95.5 the game (3/17) John Canzano says he has some Blazers news that is going to mean big changes in the franchise.  Tune in before 3:20 to hear the news.  It caught my interest with all of the stuff that has happened backstage and Paul Allens health there are many things this could mean.

I wonder if you can do write in votes that way?  Fernandez anybody?!?!? This may just dilute the votes that the other players would get though.

I know that I am probably worried for no reason at all but, is Martell OK?  I thought I heard on the BFT after the last Sacramento game that they saw Martell with a visible limp.  They seemed to think that it was not an issue but then he doesn't play in the next game.  Has anybody heard anything about Martell not playing last night?  I think that he is about as big a piece as there is in the Blazers hopes to improve on last season.  Plus, I just like Martell and would hate for the guy to have to deal with another injury.

I was wondering if David Lee would now become the first option for the Blazers?  Do you think that we could convince him to come here and be our banger off the bench?  Last season he became a regular starter for the Knicks so I think that it would be hard for him to give that up.  Maybe the thought of winning a ring would be enough?

I think that he would be a great addition to our roster and would offer some more rebounding and toughness down low.  Any thoughts?

I was at a party last night and the Blazer game was on but I couldn't heat a thing.  Did Mike Rice say anything about having to shave his head? He had made a bet with Outlaw that when Travis got 10 boards in a game Rice would have to shave his head.  This is going to be pretty funny to see.  Apparently Travis got to do the shaving.  I hope that somebody ou there with the Blazers is getting pictures of this!!!

I am glad to see Travis hitting the boards and driving to the rim. If he could keep this up for a full season he would be a lock for 6th man!

I saw somebody else asking if they had the video of Garnett barking like a dog at Bayless last night.  I looked and couldn't find one so I went ahead and cut that part out of the game and posted it.  If you watch right after the Celtics score Garnett gets on all fours and barks as the blazers inbound the ball.  The best look at this is when they cut to the celtics player walking back down the court, you can see KG barking in the background.  Man he is such a punk.  I wish somebody would make him shut his big mouth one of these days.  As far as the barking goes ... I have noticed that my female dog tends to bark more than the male one ... so maybe KG is just a female dog? ;-)

I started reading the recently posted SI.com article about BRoy and after the 4th paragraph I had to stop because something I read pissed me off.  I took a look at some fanpost replies and apparently I am not the only one.

Over and over people refer to him as being not very athletic and it is very annoying.  People make the assumption that just because a guy lays the ball up instead of skying for a 360 jam that he is not capable of the second.  Brandon Roy is one of the smartest basketball players that I have ever seen. He knows how to use his body to be a very productive player and I enjoy watching him as much as I enjoy watching Outlaw dunk over top of people.  The way the word peers is thrown in there like these "more athletic" people are above him!?!

I am sure this bugs many other people. So I thought I would get it started so we could vent a bit!

Also, does anybody have a way to dig up the draft camp stats from Roy’s year? I am curious how he stacked up against other guys in the ways that they evaluate athleticism. Thanks!

Nate McMillan was on The Herd with Colin Cowherd this morning (5/22/2008).  Most of the talk is about the NBA playoffs but think any Nate interview is a good interview.  They talk Blazers for a second toward the end.  Also I like Cowherd since he's a "local product" at least its not a Rome clip! :-)
