Roy Williams is a free agent after the season. The key to the rebuilding process is what level of value Detroit can get in exchange for Roy Williams, who can be franchised and traded. If the Lions can get a first-rounder and another high pick or more for him, they can begin to rebuild.

i saw more then a few penalies not call but this game was just too much. i understand th idea of "come on ref just let the guys play fome football" but this was beyond that and completely unsafe. i saw way too many face masks, blocking in the back and yes the notorious horse collar that didnt get called. The worse part about it was one of those horse collars were on McNabb.HE IS OUR QB FOR HEAVEN SAKE. that sould never happen to a qb and it did that is just unacceptable. these are not issues of poor sportsmanship like holding tounting or PI which in alot of cases could be acceptable to overlook, but this is Saftey concers your talking about someond neck and back. one play (and granted they did call this) westbrooks head almost got ripped off by 3 defenders. I'm surprised hes alive! I never and i really mean never want to see these refs again. they are a discrase to the nfl and american sports in genral. Pacman isnt the only one making the NFL look bad anymore it is the very ref that they intrusted MNF to. IF we ever see these guys again in the stripes working our game we sould just send in our back-ups becuase i dont want to see McNabb or Westbrook or any starter on any team get injured because these refs are to blind to see an elephantin a haystack! I'll rather loose a game then loose a starter and risk our season.

Thanks for reading my vent please feel free to add more.

he had 6 catches for 106 yards in game 1

6 catches for 110 yards in game 2 and one stupid move that should of been a TD

and so far he is averaging just under 11 yards per punt return with that 60 yarder in game 1

he is the first rookie to start his first 2 games with 100 yard games since 1940(?)

and he is providing mismatches right now with our 2 starting recivers out. What will he do when we have one or both ricivers back?

i really belive he will be starting next year if not by the end of this year and his next week he puts up some of the same numbers.. who knows?

i guess the short question is when will he ern the starting job and whos job will he take?

right now you want to say Reggie Browns because he is our #2 but then we will have two short, fast slot type recivers out there. Don't we want one big guy? Or are we eventualy going to end up with DJ and baskett anyway? Or maybe draft DJ's complement this year?

Here it is his first game with the giants and he already hit the punter and cost then a possesion.

Do you guys realy think he is a big loss?

I always felt he was a poor draft pick and possible worse, a wast of money.

I'm glad he is gone i feel we got the better end of the deal since we got rosture space and some extra cap room. he is 30 and has less tackles in his cureer than one of trent coles seasons and only has a total of 3 yes 3 sacks.maybe just maybe we should replace him with fred-ex atleast he did something for this team.

Please explain to me why everyone is afraid of a guy who can only do well against a second and third team. i bet you he cant even go back to college and have an OK season.

Eagles Poll: Which Position Needs To Show The Most In Friday's Game At Pittsburgh?

I was checking out the eagles website and saw this poll. i thought it was pretty clear cut but found out otherwise.

The question is: Which Position Needs To Show The Most In Friday's Game At Pittsburgh?

and for those of you who havent seen it the answer choices are QBs, O-line, WRs, D-line, and LBrs.

For me i though ok our line is great and i want to see more from King. Our QB situation is set. Im happy with our recivers and want to see jackson. our dline is a small concern with the injuries but we have depth. And finaly what i thought to be the clear answer was the linebackers. not because i dont have faith in them but because they are young and our middle backer has only one game under him.... but i was suprised to see the results this way:

Quarterback - 11.7%
Offensive line - 13.2%
Wide receiver - 48.4%
Defensive line - 10.8%
Linebackers - 16.0%

What do you guys think???

What would happen if we ended up giving westbrook his 30 mil but streached it out over 4 or 5 years with X amount of bonuses?

The Bonuses would hopfuly keep him happy and willing to play over those next 2 years. Yeah we will pay now but we never pay our players what they are worth and we always have alot of cap room so why not use it on the best weapon in football. i understand where 30 mil could be alot, and we want to pervent what happend with shawn Alexander but they are 2 different players. (lets face it Shawn Aexander was never a tough player willing to take a hit) And to top all this off we will end up with a happy Westbrook who keeps getting better every year. I hounestly belive our chnces of winning it all would o way down without Westbrook.

Can't this all be possible?

Will this really hurt us that much? (how much)

Would you guys be willing to do something like this?

LETS TALK and more importantly have a healthy debate like "Shot Glass" was oh so capable of doing.

Micheal Strahan has been debating weather to return or not, now out of the blew he decides to ask for a new $8 million contract for this year to return. i am convinced at this point all he wants is money he does not care about the team he is all about him self and now with a superbowl ring he wants money or not to play. with this being said i feel that if he feels he can get the money elsewhere the giants would let him go since thay have so much yound tallent. if that does happen would you want him? he would no doubt help this D and we do have the money. would you want his problems and bagedge. he would fit really nice opposit from cole and i belive he would make this deffence unstoppable.

Do you think he is worth our while?

P.S i dont think this is likely i am just saying its "food for thought"

i was thinking abit after the draft an i cam to a suprising conclution. at the end of the day we came away with

a high first round pick next year

2 extra 4th rounds (minnesota and caralina)

a solid DT

a Back-up RB

a great return man who is a decent reciver

All we really gave up was

our 1st (to caralina for their 2nd 4th and 2009's 1st)

our 2nd

our 4th(for Booker)

our 5th (part of the package deal so minnesota can move up)
