Morning, morning. James here, reporting your Nuggets again... I just spent the last hour trying to get this router to work. Seriously, if you folks ever have connection issues I'm going to easily bet its because of your router. So, because this connection could die at any time, I'm going to make this as quick as I possibly can. Either way, I don't have a ton of links today, at first glance two or three, but I'll see what I can find for you. So, enjoy the few links you get. I swear, I spoil you guys...

Just some records Vernon Davis holds at his college. Impressive, right? Wish he'd be impressive on the Niners.. (SacBee.com)

A smooth transition to Jimmy Raye. I know I should be excited we have the personnel, but I just cant have good feelings about our offense under someone who's been unproven for so long. (PressDemocrat.com)

Team employees told to take a week off. [site decorum] economy. (SFGate.com)

Samuel Lam takes a look at the 49ers' week 11 opponent next season, the Green Bay Packers. Do be sure to click around there and check out the rest of the previews, which I've been ignorant to during these Nuggets posts. If I have time I'll update the comments with all of them, unless he wants to do it himself, feel free to Mr. Lam. (Examiner.com)

Golden Nuggets: Dentist = ...Not that bad.

Morning everyone, morning. James here, returning to do your Nuggets. You might have missed me yesterday, I had to sleep rather early as I had a dentist appointment, which, oddly enough, wasn't really unpleasant in the least. It was in fact, rather painless which goes against everything I've ever heard about dentists. So I got a tooth pulled and now I'm sitting here writing this with swollen cheeks. I've got a few links for you, although I cant promise that you didn't read them in yesterday's links as I didn't really check what Fooch put together for you. Either way, enjoy them.

Hm... cant seem to get away from this stuff, an article about QB Alex Smith and, you guessed it, his friend who commited suicide. (SFGate.com)

Steve Young joins Monday Night Football, as the third guy on the second team. This is good news, I always find myself (when listening to the radio most of the time) surprised at how intelligent Young actually is when he talks about the game. (NBCBayArea.com)

A good article which also makes me wonder--who is the leader on the 49ers? Which player is looked up to and respected? (PressDemocrat.com)

An article about the one guy I don't know how to predict--Vernon Davis. (SacBee.com)

Barrows continues his look at the inside linebacker position. (SacBee.com)

Good morning again everyone, James here with your Nuggets. Truly into no mans land as far as news goes these days, I'm thinking its going to be like this for the next month or so, so bare with me, yeah? As the news becomes scarce my introductions will be either more boring or simply shorter. Today I am once again in a hurry so I'll be getting right to the links, enjoy.

Barrows takes a look at the inside linebackers currently on the roster. (SacBee.com)

More on Alex Smith and the death of his friend. (MercuryNews.com)

How do you feel about the 49ers quarterback situation? Singletary is confident it seems in either choice--Shaun Hill or Alex Smith. Personally, I'm all for Hill. (Scout.com)

This is a huge question mark for me--How will Michael Crabtree do in his rookie year? Will it be a breakout season? (SportsIllustrated.com)

Good morning everyone, not a lot of links today but I've got a few. Apologies for not getting the links up sooner but I've been pretty busy and right now I'm in kind of a hurry, so this introduction is going to be short. As always, post any links if you've got 'em.

Safety first. I felt that we needed a safety first and foremost in the offseason, as I am NOT a supporter of Dashon Goldson. I just don't see if there. But hey, maybe he'll work out. (PressDemocrat.com)

Here's a story about Alex Smith and how he dealt with the death of his best friend. Not really news, but ya know. (ESPN.com)

A look at the 49ers' "If's." (SFGate.com)

In case you missed it yesterday, an interesting article about Jed York and his blossoming into the 49ers' owner. (MercuryNews.com)

Morning folks. The absence of links yesterday is due completely in part to there not being any links for me to post. No really, I got nothing. Today I only have a few, maybe even as low as two links. From now on when I don't have any links to post I'll let you all know in a fanshot. Though as always, even in the fanshot, if you have a link I missed post it up in the comments as it'd be a help to everyone here. That being said, I'm going to get right to the couple of links I have, here's to hoping for more news later?

Lack of news is something, but I've found a very interesting article about Jed York. Do you think he's coming into his own? I say we'll see at the end of the season. (MercuryNews.com)

Barrows continues his look at the d-lineman with his in depth analysis. (SacBee.com)

Gooood morning folks, James here with the Nuggets for the day. Checking in ON TIME and for the third day in a row, I'm on a roll I must say... Though it is mostly because I have a new alarm set on my phone that in-sis-ted that I get on and put together a link post for you all. You may thank Slayer for your links today as their rendition of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" served admirably in being both loud and insitant, worked wonders at keeping me from my sleep. Now that I've managed to stall for a good four lines or so, we'll get on to Niners News. I've got a few links for you, not a lot but then again a link is a link. I'll see if I cant update it but we know how well that went yesterday. (I didn't update yesterday.) Anyway, here's some links for you to read. Enjoy them.

Once again, I implore you to head to the "Where in the world is Niners Nation" post and let us know where you're from. Its... fun. (NinersNation.com)

Its odd, I was just thinking about Aubrayo Franklin today, I was under the impression that he wasn't good--but hey, the players and this blogger seem to like him. Good enough for you? (SFGate.com)

Tarell Brown (my favorite corner on the team FYI) is hosting his second football camp for his community. Interesting read, regardless of being news-worthy or not. (49ers.com)

An in depth look at the DL from Barrows. (SacBee.com)

Training camp dates for the 49ers are now set. (49ers.com)

Here's a 49ers team report from Yahoo Sports. Always a good read, those team reports. I love 'em. (Yahoo.com)

Morning, morning folks, James here two days in a row! Kudos to the folks who commented and acknowledged that I was either back, missing, or even here to begin with. That being said, I don't have a lot for you in the ways of links. At first glance its scarce. I'm getting these up a bit late, so I'll post the entry with what I have on-hand, and then in the next hour I'll do a deeper search across the internet for something I may have missed and update accordingly. As always if you've got a link I (very likely) have missed, go ahead and post it in the comments. If you cant do that, well you're either really selfish or you're not logged in! Go ahead and click on register and get posting. Now, on to the links...

Lineman Tony Wragge finishes his "broadcasting bootcamp." If you missed the first two parts you can find them here and here. (49ers.com)

Alex Smtih may need... praise? An interesting, yet valid way to look at it. (SacBee.com)

In case you have missed it, the above article is referincing an article Barrows wrote yesterday, which was in the links accordingly, but here it is again. (SacBee.com)

Maiocco addresses two questions dealing with the Nolan era and the decision making process of the 49ers front office. (PressDemocrat.com)

That's all for this particular hour or so.

Good morning all, James here checking in for your Nuggets. Yes, you heard (read) that correctly, I'm back, not that any of you particularly noticed but I've been gone for a good while, and the days I was here were... spotty at best. Suffice to say I'm back now, taking full reign of the Nuggets again. Let me start off however, saying that I'm completely out of the loop as far as 49ers news goes these days as I've been very busy, so if I post a few links you've already been exposed to cut me a bit of slack here! I figure by tomorrow I'll be back in the swing of things. That being said, I SHOULD have some stuff for you, so without further stalling, on to the links.

Oi! Have you went ahead and added yourself to the Niners Nation Fan Map thing of sorts?! I haven't either, but its pretty cool so (having just heard of it) I'm gonna go do it myself right after posting this. You DO want to be cool, don't you? (NinersNation.com)

So what's going on at offensive tackle? LT seems certain, but what of the right side? Will it be Boone or Smith? Personally, I'm rooting Boone. I mean come on, the guy jumps on cars... (real answer has something to do with Marvel Smith being injury prone or something less interesting than drunken car-leaping.) (Examiner.com)

A breakdown of one of the teams the 49ers are playing this season... and oh wait, every season prior and in the forseeable future. Its a breakdown of the Arizona Cardinals. (Examiner.com)

Alex Smith feels as though his arm feels as good as it can. This is good news, even if I'm not even near supporting the kid as the starting QB at this point. (SacBee.com)

Near Misses with the 49ers signings. I'm sure glad some of these guys are still getting their chance. I personally still believe in Manny Lawson--quite a bit, in fact. (SFGate.com)

A few Q&As with DL Ricky Jean-Francois.. I really like the kid, somehow I feel like he'll be good in the NFL. We'll see if I'm right, I suppose. (49ers.com)

Do you think the 49ers are going to add any more players this offseason? This article (and this link-poster) says no. (PressDemocrat.com)

Semi-sick of Vernon Davis talk... I think maybe its because I don't have any faith in him anymore? We'll see. Perhaps I should start making little Pascoe flags... (SFGate.com)

Who on the 49ers is eligible for the practice squad? I sincerely hope not... well, yep, they're eligible. And if you don't know what two players I'm talking about then you obviously never read my rants in my links. (SacBee.com)

Manny's Law. Enough said. (49ers.com)

So who will be the top fantasy WR for San Francisco? Personally, I have no idea, but I'm suspecting Josh Morgan. (NFL.com)

Good morning folks, James here with your Nuggets for the day. There was a redesign for the forms I use to write these every day and now the input field is... much wider. Before, I used to measure the length for these opening paragraphs by how it wraps around the image of the casino but now I have no idea how much to write! Either way... I don't seem to have very many articles for you today, most of them will be about the stadium. I'll see what I can find. If there's not much I'll try and get on and update if possible. Enjoy.

Is Singletary's intensity enough to bring this team back to its former glory? This article gives a lot of opinions and is more or less a "state of the team" as of right now. (USAToday.com)

This, of course, has to be brought up again. What do you think about the 49ers sharing a stadium? Personally I don't think much of it, especially with the Raiders. I hope it doesn't happen. (ContraCostaTimes.com)

The 49ers stadium plans are very.. complex. Not everyone in Santa Clara particularly understands what money is going where. (ContraCostaTimes.com)

So what happens if the 49ers cant come up with the 800 million dollars or so needed to complete the stadium plans. (MercuryNews.com)

Just those four for now, folks.

Good morning all, James here with your Nuggets for today. I'm getting this up a bit later than usual but I doubt anyone will notice, so moving on... We've got a new stadium plan, and I couldn't be less excited. Number one, I don't like that its not in San Francisco. Number two, its not football news so much in that I cant see somebody hit somebody else really hard, or even speculate on it when we're talking about something like uniforms and stadiums! That being said though, if I were someone who cared I suppose I'd be glad we finally have a deal in the works and speculation can come to a rather needed close. Not sure how many articles I have today, but we'll find out. Enjoy.

Yes, a new deal is complete (for the most part) for a new stadium. (SFGate.com)

Here's more on what happens and what needs to happen for it here on the official website. (49ers.com)

Are the 49ers urgent and panicky about signing their rookie draft picks, or does Singletary just not like waiting? All I know is Michael Crabtree better not hold out. (SacBee.com)

A Q&A with S Curtis Taylor. (49ers.com)

Catching up with some old 49ers and their charities. (MercuryNews.com)

Only three of the 49ers picks remain unsigned. (PressDemocrat.com)

Gore wants to return to Miami. Well, I hope he gets there, really! (49ers.com)

The rookies are getting a taste of the offseason workouts. (49ers.com)

Can the 49ers get better? I friggin hope so. (SFGate.com)
