Happy B-DAY JJ Hickson!

JJ's twitter is up, but his Facebook is not looking like a Portland Trailblazer's should. Get him some more likes on his birthday, tell him how much we appreciate a physical player, and be entered to win an autographed photo of JJ.

Drummond working with the "Hoops Whisperer"

You can't read too much into one article, but this is a good sign to me. If you don't want to improve your game and work hard you dont go do drills with the guy that smacks LeBron's chin and tells him he can't dribble and has no go to move.

Moving on up?

There's been a lot of rumors around here lately. MKG is working out for us? And Brooklyn? Who has no pick? Waiters and Rivers get late lottery promises and we've been mentioned as a possibility for the team who issued the verbal commitment. This rumor may put those into better perspective. My opinion: if they package 6 & 11 for 4 & 24 they better be certain that A: A franchise player is available at 4 (Is there one outside of Davis and Maybe Robinson?), and B: There are no franchise caliber players outside of 6. Personally, I think this would be a mistake, but the rumor itself helps make sense of some of the babble we become inundated with this time of year. If we are that active and looking to move up it may be a trade partner has "promised" Waiters or Rivers at pick #11. Either one would be exciting next to Irving. What throws a wrench into this for me is that they have a franchise player (Irving) who's best friend (Harrison Barnes) is projected to go #4 (by many mocks) and fitsa need. This is all mumbo jumbo for another 18 days.

Bloom: Jamal Crawford Expressed Interest In Suns During Game?

80

Phoenix Suns broadcaster Jon Bloom tweets that Portland Trail Blazers guard Jamal Crawford expressed interest in the Suns to broadcaster Eddie Johnson and coach Alvin Gentry during Monday night's game. ------------------------------------- Jamal Crawford just told EJ on press row and Alvin Gentry on the sidelines that he "needs to be here in Phoenix" w/ Blazer teammates nearby ------------------------------------- Last night, Crawford participated in a lengthy back-and-forth with fans on Twitter, and wrote: "I like Portland, will see what happens" and "Does it look like I checked out? No I'm a pro." text edited, bumped to front page

Fomer Blazer Jarrett Jack out for season

I like to keep up on our former players, and noted recently how the Blazer injury curse is spreading to the former Blazers. Now Jerryd Bayless and Jack can hang out together since they will both be out. They can get an NBA2k11 tournament going with Greg Oden maybe...

Former Trailblazer Jerryd Bayless out for the season

The injury curse is now spreading from Marcus Camby to Jerryd Bayless, it's not even safe to be a former Blazer anymore :(

Wolves fear torn ACL for Rubio

9

Ricky Rubio will have an MRI on his left knee on Saturday, several hours after his knee buckled in the final moments of Minnesota's loss to the Lakers. "Possible ACL," the source briefed on Rubio’s condition said. "We’ll know more after the MRI. … There’s a lot of worry right now." Rubio came across to trap Kobe Bryant and fell to the floor as Bryant collided with him. Rubio was on the floor for a few moments until teammates carried him to the bench.
