Blazer's Edge Geez, if only we'd met the Spurs...

...yeah, but that's old news. Shoulda, coulda, woulda...That's okay. We just have to work harder to get through this 1st round. But, we have the team that can do it. We have proven it all season. Coming from behind to win the amazing and unexpected.

I was doggin' on Travis earlier, and Blakie. But after, getting over the emotional aspects and hearing from fans, who's input i respect, I've changed my mind. We can[t jump to hating on the players who don't live up to our expectations every game.

Gotta love Blake and Outlaw these past 2 games.

If this team plays like it has the past 2 games, we will win in Houston on Thursday. I have so much faith in this team, that I can't imagine them not being at their prime on Thursday. They won't have the home crowd, but they will have the Blazer crowd with them.

At the last houston game there were two Blazer fans in the front row. I hope to see that again.

We have the youth, we have the will, we have the desire, to be a contender!

GO BLAZERS!

Blazer's Edge We are NOT defeated...

Remember when you were a freshman in high school? Remember how all the seniors looked at you like you weren't worthy? Remember how intimidating this was? If you remember all of this, then you can understand how the Blazers felt coming into the biggest game, thus far, of their careers. Our oldest being Blakie and Joel at 29. Our youngest, one of our starters, Nick Battum, and a bench highlight, Jared Bayless, 20 years old. Brandon, our hero, is a mere 24 and Lamarcus is 23.  The grandfather of the team, who has been with us the longest, is Travis, 24. He has been with us 6 years, and is our current longest living Blazer. Probably, the nicest  and most humble guy on the team. Our 'Mr. 4th quarter'. Travis does not get the recongnition he deserves. I know this team. I LOVE this team. I have faith. I know we will stumble, but I will never be a hater. Yes, I was mad that I'd camped out for 15 hours to get tickets to a game that was so humiliating, but I would do it all again. And,I will. For a chance to see our boys in the playoffs. It didn't turn out the way I'd hoped, but I believe. I believe in this team, and I've been a fan longer that most of you have even 'been'. I haven't felt this strongly since the '91/'92 season. We lost in Chicago in game 7 after being up by 20. It may have been one of the worst days of my life. I was 31 back then, I am now 48. My love for the Blazers has never waivered. Clyde Drexler was my hero, and stil is. I will never forget these times. This is what I wish for now. Me at 68 remembering when my Blazers finally won their championship in the 2000's! (09!)
