Halloween photo of Parker and Duncan may cause some trouble for a league with broken sarcasmometers

Duncan and Parker posed in a picture with toy guns to the head of a fake Joey Crawford. The photo was leaked and some people may be upset with it. I think it is hilarious. What do you all think?

Keep Drinking the Koolaid

Even with the clear momentum shift if the western conference finals, there is still plenty of reason for us Spurs fans to keep the faith and keep the Koolaid flowing.

Q & A With Clipper Steve (Posted on Loud City)

Steve Perrin from Clips Nation answered questions for Loud City on if the Thunder have a chance against the Spurs. After watching the Spurs beat the Clips Steve doesn't give the Thunder much hope. He predicts the Spurs will win in 5-6. I tend to agree with him, Go Spurs Go!

Bill Simmons Picks the Spurs to win it all

Yes the same moron who claimed that all of the Spurs championships deserve an asterix. After watching their last two games in LA he is predicting them to be the champions and even comparing them with the best teams in NBA history. Always nice to see a hater become a celebrator.

Hickory-High: Offensive Geometry

This is a pretty interesting write up that compares offensive efficiency across the league. The author draws out the difference between the two top offenses in the league (Spurs and Thunder) Headed into this series I think this article sheds some light on the differences we may see between the two offenses. To me this article gives a confidence boost (as if it is even needed) for the Spurs. They excel at creating more opportunities of using league wide efficient options. The Thudner seem to just be more efficient than other at less efficient options. Given the choice between the two I'd have more faith in being able to capitalize on generally efficient options than being able to continue to hit less efficient options. Defenses step up in the post-season so being able to get good high percent shots should continue to set the Spurs apart from the rest.

Spurs Make it Official: No McDyess

Antonio is retiring after all. Guess it was pretty obvious he was going to but I was hoping he'd give it one more year. Good guy, glad he spent a few years in San Antonio

Spurs don't want just anybody at center

Article from Express News that reveals what Pop's stance is on getting another center. At least he is aware of the issue. Check it out and see if you agree with him.

Spurs have some interest in Oberto

According to this story at Spurs Nation, Oberto has interest in rejoining the Spurs. It says that the Spurs have talked with Oberto's agent before the lock-out with interest in bringing Oberto back. Even though Oberto is not a game changer I think we could do far worse than bringing back a guy who knows the system and has some chemistry with our core players. What do you guys think?

NBA stars face roadblock to play in China

A brief piece in this article suggests that Tony Parker is in serious talks about playing in China. This was surprising news to me since I thought he would play with the team he owns in France during the lock out. It appears that a new rule in China may stop him from being able to play there though.

Buford: Spurs not shopping Parker

According to a new story at spurs nation the Spurs are not shopping Parker.

Spurs, Blazers, Rockets in mix for Nene?

There is a rumor on ESPN for the day saying that the Spurs may be in the mix for Nene.

Not Dead Yet

Its easy to get frustrated with where the Spurs find themselves in the series against Memphis but we are not dead yet. For years people have been saying that the Spurs are too old, too short, too...

Parker thinks Manu will play in game one

This story is from yahoo news so its probably BS but it is encouraging news either way. Story here I tried to make a fan shot of it but could not get it to work and I am a technology fool so that...

Are the Spurs the best TEAM in the NBA

What makes a fan choose a team to follow?  For some people they choose their favorite star and follow that team.  For others it their local team.  Other people choose to follow the teams that their...

Can the Spurs’ perimeter shooting carry them in the playoffs?

Spurs Nation raises a valid question that any realistic Spurs fan has pondered going into the playoffs. We all saw what happened during our losing streak when our shots stopped falling from outside. Looking at recent history we can also see how valuable shooters in the regular season don't always hold their own come playoff time. (I'm looking at you Ginger). I find it interesting that none of the top eight three point sooting teams have ever won the finals. We have a stockpile of shooters waiting on the bench in case any of our regular gunners fail to hit shots in the real season. I also think that our team is solid enough all around that as long as we are healthy we will make some serious noise in our quest for number 5! What do you think..........

Hollinger's Spurs Tweet about SA vs LA Tuesday

@johnhollinger By the way, odds of Spurs tanking on Tuesday just went through the roof. Why would you push Lakers into being second-round opponent?

So was it the injuries?

So last week we were in the midst of our Duncan era record losing streak.  The Lakers were being touted as the eventual winners of home court advantage in the west.  We slipped to sixth on ESPN's...

Why Twitter sucks

This was what I saw on Spurs Nation at the San Antonio Express News web-site while hoping to find the status of the big three for the game vs. Boston: George_Hill3 U better calm down n stick 2...

Spurs considered Captain Jack!?

According to the weekend dime at espn: Sources told that San Antonio flirted with reacquiring the playoff-tested Jackson during the offseason ... and that Brown didn't oppose Jackson's departure. If that's not a sufficient hint, multiple sources consulted this week told that Wallace is generally regarded as Charlotte's only untouchable. That would have been interesting. Was this the backup plan if Jefferson did not resign?
