BMarsh to Seahawks??
I live in the Seattle area and listen to the Kevin Calabro show on ESPN 710 (I know, I know! Why do I torture myself?) on my way to and from work. Over this past week there's been a lot, I mean a lot of chatter about the Seahawks having interest in Brandon Marshal. They even brought on Mike Klis from the Denver Post to share some his insight. He didn't really say anything new, but did mention that it would probably take at least the first rounder we sent the hawks for Alfonso Smith. He also noted that Marshal has the same agent as T.J. Houshmanzandah which is somewhat interesting.
Seattle has a history of trading a first rounder for a WR (Deion Branch) but they also have an owner (Paul Allen) who isn't afraid to spend money on game changers.
I didn't want to be the guy spreading rumor (although it turned out that way) I just thought I'd share what the Seattle media is saying about the possibility of trading for BMarsh.
Kobe's Back (Spasms)
E. Stan Kroenke, a profile of the owner
Stan Kroenke is one of the richest people in the world. He owns the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids, Colorado Avalanche, and is a partial owner of the ST. Louis Rams and the English soccer club Arsenal. Recently Christopher Tritto of the Business Journal wrote a story on the Real Estate Billionaire and I thought it would be a great read for Nuggets fans considering his future in the NBA is questioned if he persues ownership of an NFL team. Here's the link.
