How to kill many birds with one stone
Unbeknown to most people, the nuggets actually sit in a good position right now. In a league filled with roster/ financial turmoil we look quite good with a young talented team, huge amounts of cap room and no glaring holes (unless Nene actually does leave). the only way to move now is forward..... and one move will complete everything for this team.
Chandler's Chances
Taking a deeper look into whether or not we will see Wilson Chandler in powder blue next year, I think its likely (as long as we dont change uniforms). Im confident he will return and I could state reasons why we have better chances against any other team in the league but to avoid a huge post il keep to the important stuff.
(Important stuff in bold)
Beating the salary cap
As a fan of this nuggets team i would hate to see it disbanded because of money reasons. We may have alot of free agents next year but we also have alot of cap space and most other teams do not. I started putting together some spreadsheets and found the salary situation may not look to bad after all
Offseason Optimism
There seems to be a lot of uncertainty over this Nuggets team regarding the future. The most questionable topic being whether or not we will be able to resign Nene, Chandler, AAA and Jr with Gallo and Ty coming up shortly after
With some creative financing and a bit of luck I think we can retain this core
For the front office
I dont know how this Melo situation got so bad but its at a point now where it seems like its knicks or nothing and the nets deal looks pretty damn good about now.
I would say that Masai uriji and Josh kronke are getting worried now but before they panic and do this insulting knicks trade know there are better options avaliable
Big ol' Rebuild
At the start of the season I thought the Nuggets rebuilding would be probable. Remaining optimistic that things would work out the season went on but at this point now I believe a rebuild is imminent. The team isn't working well, Playing well and seem unmotivated. Melo doesn't want to be here so the FO may aswell get him out asap.
Good news about No. 4, Kenyon Martin
Just as the nuggets season seems to be coming together nicely, K-Mart looks at a return in a few weeks. He sounds amped to play, hope he regains last seasons form.
Go Nuggs!
Melo staying still option?
Maybe optimism or false hope? the latest article from Chris Tomasson
Trade to stay competitive
Over the last couple of weeks we have heard a lot about trade Ideas between Denver and New Jersey and it seems to be the only way to make it happen is in a 4 team trade. Although it has proved to be harder than it sounds
Here is a trade that works for all four teams and keeps Denver competitive while getting good return for our star
Value of an expiring contract
With all the questions surrounding the team this off-season its certainly not going to be an easy task for new GM Masai Uriji to decide which direction he should go with the expiring contracts we have available.

Amundson likes Nuggets
A hometown return seems possible
How about plan B? (2 year plan)
This offseason like all the ones before is full of rumors, trade scenarios and excitement for the possibility of the nuggets going all out and making the right moves to make the team champions. Im with all of you in wanting this to happen but what if it doesnt? again.
Revisiting Camby
I know I dont need to remind anyone about the main things we need for the 2011 season but defense and rebounding would go a long way to making this team serious contenders again. But what would you think if Marcus Camby were to return to Denver?
Possible trade options
So there's not too much to talk about regarding the nuggets these days and not many rumors going around so i thought I would make a post about some possible teams that would want to trade with us. A lot of teams will be looking to change their rosters after unsuccessful seasons last season. Factors such as the draft, free agency or salary cap may benefit a team like Denver in a big way
Gary Payton wants to coach!
I wonder if he would be interested in Denver?
Championship to Denver
Its becoming obvious that some things have to happen, and fast if this Nuggets team are going to win the title in the next couple of years.
What we need: A talented big that can pull down big rebounds
:Better team chemistry / smarter consistent players
:A reliable scoring option behind Melo
:DEFENSE!
Apart from that most of the team core is still good but here is how we get that extra step further
Big men for cheap
Here is a list of Players I think could be suitable for the nuggets next year. They are all realistic to acquire via trade or free agency and cheap. Tell me what you think and add any players i missed out. Could very well be the next Arron Afflalo deal
