SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Darius Miller has never played a game at Notre Dame, but he's been here plenty of times.

Comments from Larry Orton
Larry Orton spent a few days in Virginia last week visiting his mother. When he returned home and went to work, he was hit with numerous questions about UK’s basketball coaching situation.
"People are trying to get Daniel to change his mind about Kentucky. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State want him bad. His cousin is coach at OU. If Gillispie is not there (next year), I guarantee he will call. There will be a lot of people calling. I bet Florida will call," Larry Orton said.

UK Basketball: Perry critical of Gillispie and Kentucky
Because he played with five of Kentucky's current players, Bobby Perry readily admits that he wants to see the UK basketball team do well.
However, the former Wildcat also doesn't think that means he should not be entitled to an opinion that is less than flattering about the UK program.
UK Basketball: Hood thinks Gillispie will be back at UK
Even thought UK is 20-13 and did not make the NCAA Tournament, the Madisonville-North Hopkins product remains firm in his commitment to UK and in his belief that Gillispie will be back for another season.

The 6-foot-3 senior, who plays with flair and finesse, had 28 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
Sanford, who was being watched from press row by Kentucky Coach Billy Gillispie, was at his best down the stretch.
Breaking News: Konner Tucker commits to UK
http://www.courier-journal.com/blogs/demling/2009/03/tucker-commits-to-uk.html
I'm excited about Tucker. I think he will fit in well at UK.
I like the fact that he shoots a high % from 3-pt range and he has a high basketball IQ. Those two things alone should earn him some playing time next season.
He will be a sophomore next season at UK and joins Vilarino, Orton and Hood in what should be a Top 10 class.

NIT Update: Gillispie not sure what to expect in Memorial Coliseum
LEXINGTON - Kentucky coach Billy Gillispie isn't sure what to expect Tuesday night when his team plays in Memorial Coliseum.
The Wildcats (20-12) will host Nevada-Las Vegas in a first-round National Invitation Tournament game at 9:30 p.m. It will be UK's first game in Memorial since the end of the 1975-76 season because the Cats moved to Rupp Arena for home games the following year.
"I have no idea what the atmosphere will be," Gillispie said Monday morning. "We will only know when that time comes at 9:30 tomorrow."

Gillispie, Pelphrey feeling the heat from fans
From the article . . .
Now, both are on the hot seat, although it is highly doubtful Pelphrey's job is on the line if he takes care of off-season business.
Gillispie, though, appears to be headed for a settlement and a quick adios amigos to the land of big blue..

Eric Bledsoe Update
Last night, Eric said, "Right now the schools I’m looking at are Florida, UAB, Kentucky, Duke, Baylor, Oregon, Tennessee and Memphis."
This raises some interesting questions with regard to how the recruitment of this highly soughtly-after guard is being run. According to Eric’s AAU coach, Ava Herndon, she did not know that his list was being cut but that "Kentucky is working real hard on [developing a strong relationship with] Ford."
Liggins, Stevenson and Harrellson... some depressing stats
DeAndre Liggins has gone six games now without scoring a single point. The last time he scored was on 2/3 against Mississippi State. Today is 3/1... that's almost 1 month ago! Earlier this year he had a game where he scored 16 points and followed that up with 18 against Miami. I know DeAndre has some issues that need to be corrected and he's probably not as talented as I originally thought, but his lack of development throughout the season is disturbing. He has no confidence right now and it doesn't appear that CBG (or the staff) has any confidence in him. He has only played 13.5 minutes per game over the last 6 games. Against LSU, he played 3 minutes and had no stats that showed up in the box score.
Perry Stevenson.... Over the last 9 games, he's scored in double figures just ONE time. In January, he started to play much better, but recently he's been a total non-factor on the offensive end and even his rebounding numbers are down. Over the last 5 games, he is averaging 5.2 points per game.
Josh Harrellson has scored a total of 2 points over the last 5 games for an average of 0.40 points per game. If you take the last 11 games, he's scored a total of 20 points for an average of 1.81, which is better, but still well below his average for the season. He was playing pretty good in November and December, but his production and his minutes have been on a steady decline..
