Sooners show love in Haiti

Barry Tramel: Loving on those who 'loved on' Haiti' For fans who weren't already aware of the selfless acts of some Sooner athletes (and others), this article gives some great information about their efforts in Haiti. Unfortunately, I don't think ESPiN will mention this because it's not Tim Tebow. But maybe they had a quick write up about it in the past. Enjoy.

Just how valuable are the short throws to Jones and the Sooners' offensive success?

Cool article (besides the grammatical errors) about how the short throw passing game factored into his success on the field. I remember early on in the 2010 football season when Landy Jones received much criticism about how his overall stats failed to give some fans confidence in his ability (I'm guilty). However, it's safe to say I'm a believer nowadays. But moving on to the point, I always wondered what the stats were for short passes because I thought they overinflated his statistics, and interestingly enough, I found an article covering that issue. FYI: It's an ESPiN article by David Ubben
