Unstoppable Aldridge
From Elias:
"LaMarcus Aldridge scored 36 points in the Trail Blazers' 105-100 win at Detroit, following 42- and 37-point performances in his two previous games. Only one other player in Blazers' history scored 35 or more points in three consecutive games: Clyde Drexler in December 1988. Among the players who've never posted three straight 35-point games are Dirk Nowitzki, Amar'e Stoudemire, and Tim Duncan."
But like those guys, he's leading his team to W's. He's Legit.
Laker Bloggers Don't Want Blazers in First Round
Great piece from Land O' Lakers blog. Both Kamenetzky brothers agree a first-round match up with Blazers would be the worst situation for Lakers. Good outside perspective on the Blazers and just love to see we strike fear in LA.

Bewildered.
So I'm up late not studying and watching the Lakers-Warriors game from last night when Sasha Vujacic checks into the game early in the 4th quarter. Usually, Vujacrap entering the game doesn't catch my attention, but I notice something on him: he's wearing a one-sleeve shirt under his jersey.
It's now officially a fad. If Vujacic is wearing one, you know it's just for looks. Like the arm sleeve and headbands before it, the one-sleeve in now officially a NBA accessory. Like all NBA accessories, it started out with good intentions. We saw our own Nicolas Batum use it to protect his recovering shoulder, but now fancy-pants players believe it adds flavor to their image. Yuck.
I don't like it. I think it looks ridiculous. Vince Carter, Antawn Jamison, Mike Miller...these guys look like they got in a cat-fight before a game and their shirts suffered the consequences. Leave it for the Batum's, fellas! Go wear a glove or something.
It is kind of odd to point this out but, I don't know, I notice this stuff, and it bothers me. Especially when it doesn't help Vujacic look better in the eyes of ole Phil. So what do y'all think of this new fad? Am I alone?
