W's should sign Ex UCLA Bruin

I ain't talking about Barnes (though they should sign him too..but that's another story) or Toby Bailey. I'm talking about Jelani McCoy. Dude is sort of killing in the summer league for the Nugs. He is averaging a double double and has been having a block party as well. Honestly, I haven't seen any of his games this summer, just looking at stats. But if memory serves me correctly he USED to be a very mobile, active bigman. Granted that was a few years ago. Has anyone seen him this summer? Could he fit in the W's up and down game? If so, his shot blocking and rebounding would be very nice. The nugs have a ridiculous wealth of bigmen...do they really need Jelani?

well, looks like the W's are actually selling seats to the possible playoff games now. It isn't that deposit thing they were doing a couple weeks ago. This is actual seats to the 6 possible games in rounds 1 and 2 and you can only get upper level seating. Basically you pay up front for all six games and any unplayed games (up to all of them) will not be refunded, but put towards tickets for games next season. You can go to gswarriors.com to search for available seats. I just checked for the best available and here is what was returned:

Section 222
Row 5
Seats 5-6 US $270.00 (Adult) x2

Section 221
Row 9
Seats 17-18 US $270.00 (Adult) x2

Section 228
Row 10
Seats 17-18 US $270.00 (Adult) x2

Section 205
Row 10
Seats 5-6 US $270.00 (Adult) x2

$270 per seat for 6 games...got me thinking. Would you guys do this or just wait until they actually get in the PO's and then buy single games?? I'm itching to lock up my seat. I BELIEVE!!!!! HORNETS UP 4 with 1:22 to go!!!!

Dun Jr. to Clips?

according to the Akron Journal...

According to three NBA executives, the Pacers are already in talks to move Mike Dunleavy to the Los Angeles Clippers for swingman Corey Maggette.

Earlier reports have indicated a strong interest from head coach Mike Dunleavy, Sr. in his son, but that other members of the Los Angeles front office had reservations

Very strange..couldn't the W's just have done this deal themselves? Here are my takes on it:

Clips and W's had a deal in place to move Dun for Mags

In a separate deal the W's wanted to move Murph to the Pacers to get Al, but the pacers insisted on including Sjax, so they had to involve Dun in that deal to make the $$$ work

If that is the case...then the Pacers are STILL screwing the W's. Got to rethink this Karma thing... Another tidbit from this article...
On Tuesday, the Detroit Pistons added Chris Webber and now, according to reports, they are in talks to move one of their excess big men for an athletic swingman to help their depth.

hmmm...Pietrus for Dice Dice Baby?

Bobcats want to trade Ely

Well the fact that Ely is available is not news, but there is an interesting article today on RealGM which suggests that Charlotte would only want an expiring contract and a pick or two for him.
Would Zarco and the Philly #1 work? Maybe Zarco the Philly pick and our 2nd rounder? I think that would be well worth it for a guy like Melvin. The W's had major interst in him this last offseason, it was reported that they even offered him a contract but he instead chose to stay with the Bobcats.
C'mon Mully, let's gitterdone.

Murphy doesn't fit in? Jrich out on Saturday?

WOW, serious revelations in the SF Chronicle article today. Not only does Murphy publicly admit that he doesn't fit in on this team...but Nellie has already rule Jrich out for the Miami game on Saturday.
Lot's to chew on here...for instance if Murph doesn't like it here and managment doesn't think he fits, you would think he is DEFINITELY gone before the trade deadline. Also, if Monta can't play and Jrich is out against the Heat, are we going to see Robertson for 30+ minutes against Wade? That could be ugly.
Here is a link to the article:

not sure why nobody has discussed this or even mentioned it. But Monta apparently hurt his ankle again in the Nets loss. Not sure if he will be available against the Celtics or longer. Hopefully Jrich get's his legs back fast, cause even if Pillsbury turns it over faster than you can say, "hot apple turnover" he does fill it up.
Janny Hu talks about his injury here:

well, this ain't good. Bone bruise on his knee??!! When did that happen? All this time, I thought he was hobbling around because of the knee surgery. But, it turns out to be an "unrelated" bone bruise. On the flip side, apparently Iverson has asked to be traded and the sixers are agressively looking into granting his wish. There were rumors over the summer of the W's being interested in him. Hopefully, they will at least entertain the idea. They would be loaded with guard talent if the trade did not involve BD, Jrich or Monta. Would the sixers have any use at all for Foyle?...How about Ike....Murphy? I doubt there is a scenario where Jrich or BD wouldn't be part of the package.
Would the W's be that much better if they flipped BD for The Answer? Maybe.

WTF...he likes the Kings roster better than the W's. And he is already labeling Kevin Martin as an All-Star. Uh, earth to Nellie. Besides Bibby (who can't play a lick of D) and Artest..they are mediocre at best.
The whole article is on the Sac Bee but I found a teaser of the article on RealGM here

I have a random question to throw out to the GSoM community. I have seen people around the coliseum and town wearing these tshirts that look like the warriors throwback "The City" tshirts. Only these say "Tha Town" on them and have one of those big crane looking things you see in the bay when you cross the bay bridge inside of the circle instead of the golden gate bridge.
Anyone know where you can buy one of these? They are legit..gots to have me one.
