I love conspiracy theories. They are the lifeblood of the paranoid, and thus, long time Viking fans. And I have been a fan of the Purple for as long as I can remember. That would be 1967! I have developed my own conspiracy theory regarding Mr. Fav-ray.

He is a deep, deep undercover agent. Deeper than Bourne. Deeper than Bond. Deeper than a dialithium crystal mine in a Star Trek episode. Mr. Fav-ray is attempting to be a mole in the Viking organization at the behest of Packer Nation. He will tease us, dazzle us and give us hope. But in the end he will betray us.

Imagine this. We are ahead in the NFC title game, in the dome, facing the upstart wildcard Packers. There are 30 seconds left and we are running out the clock with a 21-17 lead. All Mr. Fav-ray has to do is hand the ball off to AP. But he calls an audible. He throws an out pattern to Kleinsasser which is intercepted by Matthews and retured for a TD. Mr. Fav-ray trots off the field into the Packer locker room where a fresh change of clothes is awaiting him. He high fives Rodgers, Thompson and McCarthy. The dagger is thus twisted in our back and Mr. Fav-ray returns to Mississippi to debate on whether or not to retire...again.
