Yankees fan since 1973. Started as a Reggie Jackson/Oakland A's fan (Saw the 1971 All-Star Game when it happened). Went to school up the hill from the original Yankee Stadium and could see the earth movers and cranes ripping the ballpark apart for the mid-seventies renovations.
Live and die with the Yankees who were also my Dad's team, going all the way back to watching the NY Black Yankees Negro league games at the stadium and staying for the big league portion of the bargain twin-bill the cathedral used to host in the forties.
