Burnt Orange Nation Will Colt's size could effect his draft stock?

I'm a huge junkie when it comes to the NFL combine and the NFL draft, but this year I'm a little nervous about where our boy Colt will land in April's draft...It sucks that draft guru's all insist that Colt is so small in size that teams will pass on him, but  after seeing him in person (vs. UL Monroe) I would say he's a good 6'2.I'm 6'3 and I didn't have to down much at him, he actually was just below eye to eye level with me.

I also get sick of the no one giving him a nod against the other top college QB's coming out this year. I refuse to believe Jimmy Clausen is a better pro than Colt because Colt is a winner and would've proved that to the world had he not gotten injured. I feel like in today's NFL, teams need a QB like Colt that can scramble when needed, and make efficient medium range passes. I want to hear the BON community's opinion  on how tall Colt really is, and where yall feel he'll land in April, I'm predicting Buffalo!

Burnt Orange Nation When is it enough for coach Fisher??

I might be a little bias, but I feel like the Titans are exactly what Albert Haynesworth said they were, he said basically that if the ownership is not cool with you at the time you won't get to play, now we all know that's how most organizations are with their players but they're taking things a little too far in my opinion. I think VY could've won at least 2 of their last 3 games with his athletic ability alone, I don't understand how many more int's does Kerry Collins have to throw before he's benched? Giving VY a chance at this point can't hurt the Titans any worse since they're already 0-3...I just Think if VY doesn't get his shot against the Jags VY needs to think about the UFL to showcase his skills until next season when he will be in position to sign with a contender, or just take the Cutler way out and demand a trade and ignore calls and text messages from his coaching staff until his demands are met...thoughts??

Burnt Orange Nation My Guide For Our Horns to Make it to Pasadena in Jan.

I feel like if we are gonna make to the MNC we are gonna have to change our offensive gameplan...I've actually taken a lot time thinking about this and here's what I came up with, first we need to utilize the fact that we actually have a feature back! The way we do this is to run more plays out of the I-Formation with receivers in motion  to keep the defense guessing what we're gonna do next...the toss play along with power runs between the tackles will wear defenses down, and cause D-Coordinators to put 8 in the box which will be a perfect mismatch for our do-it-all QB (Mr.Colt ) to work the playaction like a created player on NCAA 10.

I'm not implying that we should do away with spread shotgun formation completely, but we become predictable in the spread. I think 50/50 use the I-Form and "Various" shotgun formations (pistol,5wide,wildhorn, etc..) will get us to the MNC cause so many teams know what we're gonna do before we do it, I know this to be a fact because when I'm watching each game I'm able to tell my Wife what's about to happen and I'm usually right (which is horrible thinking about some of our conference games to come}. I just think Colt can be so much better this season if he played more under center, and used the playaction rolling out capitalizing on his ability to make plays with his arm or his feet...Let me know your thoughts!!

Burnt Orange Nation Is it me or can any D-1 qb be a stat machine in ou's offense?

I'm from Tulsa and most of my fellow Tulsans don't care much for ou, but after watching my hometown team break my heart against the looners I couldn't help but think that  any division-1 QB could really shine in their offense...I think bradford's injury only exposed the fact that he's a system QB and doesn't have the it factor everybody has been making up about him, I think when a redshirt freshman that didn't play last year can come in and throw 6td's it doesn't say landry jones is a great QB, it says they have a great offensive scheme.

I think we'll destroy them in Dallas this year because their secondary hasn't really been that special this season, and they pretty much just capitalize off other teams mistakes...I would like to hear the opinion about this topic and others that I mentioned in this post...Hook 'EM!!!
