There's some solid ones this year. Taco B.M. Monster seems to be the early favorite as a 2 seed in the Dragonwagon regional, but I prefer the names that aren't totally over-the-top ridiculous (e.g., Yolanda Supersad, Neptune Pringle III).

I am drunk with bourbon and made munchies. They were country ham in the skillet with melted cheddar cheese and some Tony Chachere's. Why drunk? I haz sad with Kentucky's signing day class. To rectify I am play NCAA 1:A insider tip* for those who aren't experienced recruiting: FSs SSs and CBS are basically interchangeable, so if you desperatelyt need a corner, but have a choice between say the #10 SS and the #30 CB, go with the SS he'll lose some points when you change positions but he'll still be better overall. Also why are >50% of the QBs generated "Scrambling?" 

Accordingly, Ricky Stanzi is a pussyass Trotskyite compared to me. Go Cats.

YESSIR. What do y'all listen to? OldSouth needs some more selections to complement his various 80's songs, sports themes, and angry rap for the GAMEDAY mix. This is oriented toward getting PUMPED BRAH for the game, so anything that gets you ready to fight will do nicely.

No college-specific songs, please. More interested in unusual adaptions, like fight scene music from action and war films, along with random songs that just happen to pump you up.

Even for our fearless leader, life sometimes gets in the way and prevents spicy living. Unfortunately, our patience and understanding will not change the fact that our Viking withdrawal has escalated from minor shakes to grand mal seizures. We need a fix, we need it strong, and we need it fast. So we'll cook it up and mainline it ourselves if we have too.

The story

It's 8am on a tired Tuesday morning. You've already checked edsbs 8 times (13 if you're from Alabama) when you realize your boss is standing behind you.

"What the hell are you doing? There's important shit to be done here!" he hollers.

Suddenly the whole room is focused on you. Your boss continues to give you the business. Fuck it. You fight back. As the conflict reaches its head, you stand up and yell,

"MDWM, MOTHERFUCKER!!"

Silence. Your boss stares at you like Les Miles stares at a timeout in the 4th quarter: confused, inexplicably defiant, and readying up a barrage of profanity appropos to nothing.

Then it dawns on you: none of these assholes give a damn about The Detestable Mr. Leach, Floating Matthew McConaughey, or Noir Brooks. Unlike zzgator or MtnEer_in_SC, they'll never casually drop MDSM in everyday speech. Furthermore, everyone else is sober even though it's pushing 9am. What is going on?

The reality is that you are alone, a Colt McCoy pass wafting softly toward the sideline while Suh is about to be on your ass for the 5 1/2th time today. Maybe you should've just gone out of bounds 20 yards ago to spare yourself a chance.

But it's too late now. Life may be more absurd and byzantine than the Clawffense, but there is a release.

The Meetup

As of now, there isn't one. But I'm willing to work to make one happen. As for alcohol, I trust everyone can bring their own special libation-creations potent enough to render each one of us a viable candidate for digital viking patron sainthood. The real question is venue.

The venue

The ideal location would be somewhere centrally-located for ease of travel and minimum of illegal operation of a motor vehicle. By "centrally-located," I mean centrally-located in the South, since

1) Most of us on the site are from there

2) Our Midwestern friends won't make it anyway, as it's almost May, and it takes more than six months for a Big Televen fan to move any significant distance

3) Outside of Dougouconnplaysfootball?, nobody in the north or west cares about/is good at our fair sport.

Additionally, we'll want to go to a game where a chunk of our readership has a vested interest. This rules out any ACC game .

So I'm thinking something like that little cocktail party in Jacksonville. It's not too hard to get to, Georgia and Florida fans abound here, and it keeps in spirit with our lifestyle choices. Alabama at Tennessee would also be a solid choice for similar reasons.

I'm sure there are plenty more out there, so what are y'alls thoughts on this? Interest? Suggestions? Threats? Let's hear.
