"I really feel bad for the fans that have been waiting for the Pacquaio fight for so long. It's just, if I fight a fighter, I want to make sure that fighter is 100% all-pure and all-natural. He just doesn't want to take these same tests. I work too hard to take a chance of losing to a fighter that's cheating. I'm not saying that Manny Pacquaio is cheating. That just goes for any fighter." Floyd Mayweather

The Fight of the Century - this has absolutely no relevance to boxing, but it has two actors playing economists dressed up as boxers, and it's quite brilliantly made. Worth posting!

Don't Believe Hype: DeGale v Groves is a 50-50 fight

+

This is a pretty good article analysing why the DeGale-Groves fight might not be just a foregone conclusion. Not that I don't think DeGale has this in the bag, but it's still a decent read.

"But being a British fighter and having more support from American TV just shows that as a British fighter I should have had British TV supporting me more... I think it will be a long time until I come back again" Amir Khan, throwing all his toys out the pram and totally forgetting about his fights televised on ITV, Sky Sports and Sky Box Office. This really pissed me off, because there are British fighters who really haven't had any support from British TV (Carl Froch didn't even have the Jermain Taylor fight televised live here, and has been shafted on Primetime ever since) while Amir's had every single bit of support possible. He needs to stop blaming Sky and take some of the rap for choosing an opponent nobody knew, before he starts annoying a lot of people. http://www.boxingscene.com/amir-khan-upset-i-fight-uk-long-time--38138
