Looking For: WS Game 1 Tickets
I know this isn't how we usually operate here at MCC, and that this is a bit presumptive, but I was wondering if anyone has Game 1 Tickets that they know they cannot use. If so, i am happy to pay face, or a bit more (fixed income as a medical student at UC Davis) but I would very much like to go to the game (as i am sure thousands of other would as well). Thanks, and sorry for cluttering the fanposts.

So this article made the rounds last night in the post game chatter, talking about how great Carlos Ruiz is, and how he is Buster Posey's equal. They also mentioned on the post game wrap how the Phillies have only hit 4 more home runs than the giants on the season. These two facts did not seem to mesh, so i thought i would roll around in fan graphs for a little while and here is what I found.

According to BA Joseph has signed for the giants.
Skeels to San Jose, Decker to Conneticut?
As Baggs says in his article, Andy Skeels, manger of the most dominant team in MiLB last year has been promoted to Single A. This announcement leads Baggs to wonder if Decker- the giants catching Guru, will move on to the Dodd. I wonder is this will further fast track any of the players. There was talk of Bumgarner and Noonan going to Double A, i wonder if Decker being there makes it more likely. Furthermore, since Posey was supposed to go to HighA to work with Decker, does he just go strait to Double A?

Per Baggs- THe giants have signed Jermey Affedlt to a two year deal. Terms are not yet available. Isn't affeldt a type A? is it worth a second rounder? It a question will it ad 1 win or 5 wins? Also, per mlbtraderumors we have tended an offer to furcal. Put me in the anti furcal category- bad side of thirty, bad back- no thank you. SO i hope that none else did this while i was typing, rather than dropping in random filler.

The Mariners fired Bill Bavasi today. According to the press release, "Vice President/Associate General Manager Lee Pelekoudas will take over as the interim General Manager." Pelekoudas will be a candidate in the team's permanent GM search.
