Veterans that are still available
Please help me understand why we are not taking a chance on a couple veterans still available in free agency. Given the history with Albert Haynesworth, and the production that Fisher was able to get out of him. Why is the team not at least thinking about "kicking the tires" on Haynesworth.
Also Braylon Edwards is stil out there. He took longer than expected to rehab from his injury and that is why the 9ers dismissed him, but he is still hungry and has lots to prove. Both of these can be signed with minimal risk and a medium to high reward. We took a chance on Steve Smith why not Edwards and Haynesworth. And why aren't we finding out about Addai and Cedric Benson. I think they would make a decent 1-2 punch if we decide not to go for Richardson in the draft .
Sheriff Sam Bradford & the Young Guns!!!!!!
Now that we have a veteran WR to follow as an example. I will be expecting the rest of the WR corps to start jelling as a unit by the 3rd or 4th game. Gilyard and Amendola working the routes and returns. Robinson as the big guy across the middle if needed. And Clayton leading the way. Keep the defenses honest and not stacking the box on SJ39. Time to get excited Ladies!!!!!!........... Cuz I'm On-a-RAMpage!!!!
Sweet! Finally a veteran WR!!!!!!!!!!
Finally we have a veteran WR that can help lead Sheriff Sam Bradford and the Young Guns! What is exciting about the latest deal is that Clayton doesn't have alot of miles on him & comes from a proven winning organization. I think he has a little something to prove also. Avery going down is a blessing in disguise. Not that I wanted it to happen, but you never know what might happen because of it.
Veteran RBs available right now!
We need to get after a couple of veteran back-up RBs that are available. Ladell Betts and Willie Parker.
Both of them have enuff left for a couple seasons with the Rams and keep S-Jax off the injured list for 4-6 games this year. If we get going we could shore up the inexperienced RBs and give Jackson some true rest throughout the year. We wouldn't be spending a lot to get them either. I'm sure they have a lot to prove to former teams.
