Ok well now I know, only defend people from baseless and irrational judgement when the community approves of it. Check

That's my entire point, before I got sidetracked. I take umbrage with people that mock the choices others make simply because they don't agree with them. I think that's judgmental and fucked up

You are missing the point. You equated him changing his name to him being a bad person. I'm saying, the name change has nothing to do with it-completely separate issue. And we shouldn't care whether someone changes their name

My point is, they are two very separate issues. Prince had his name legally changed to a symbol. So...do we judge him negatively? Or do we separate that from his musical talent and say, ok whatever man-about his name

I believe that I expressed my opinion and accused me of "getting my panties in a twist". That's mature right? Not so sure it is, pal

Or......he could change it again after he's done fighting? It's not like the process is a one time thing. You can legally change your name as many fucking times as you want.

No, I'm getting rather befuddled by a grown man throwing a temper tantrum about another grown man changing his name. WHY THE FUCK DO YOU CARE? He can change his name to Poptarts McGee and I would not give a flying fuck

Yeah, didn't mention YOU specifically. Yet you took it personally.

No, those are not my sympathies. That's your PERCEPTION. Your perception of my feelings is not necessarily an accurate representation of what they really are

Stuff like this is what I'm talking about. 1) you're miscategorizing what I said in an ATTEMPT to be clever, 2) that has nothing to do with anything mentioned here, 3) you're trying to be a smartass to devalue the point I'm making

I don't love WM. I actually think he's a dick. But I hate seeing people take on this whole "holier than thou" attitude on here. It's annoying as hell and is becoming more pervasive

Who cares what YOU think? Just because YOU don't agree with it doesn't mean it's "stupid". That's an awfully arrogant mindset to have. People are allowed to have different thoughts/feelings about things

I feel like everyone holds that against him and there was a valid reason for it. He was facing legal action by a wrestler who also used that monicker, and the wrestler claimed he had trademarked it. Well, Wm didn't want to give it up so a loophole

I kind of think Barnett is corny and a bit weird. But I cannot deny his business acumen. Despite unfairly being blamed for Affliction's demise (inevitable really)

Very true. But it's so fucked up that you have to HOPE that your Boss is in a generous mood so that you can get your medical expenses covered. Rather than at a normal place, you go to the doctor and the treatment is left up to them (to a point)

Because this is an injury from a long time ago. Actually read up on it, she's had back issues for some time, and I'm assuming training just exacerbated it.

Disagree, I think that Eddie is one of those people that shows wear more, and perhaps has a more suspect chin (but good recover)

But Cerrone is a slow starter and perhaps one of the only people (besides Frankie) that is MORE hittable than Eddie....

I'm not sure that's a good idea either. Look at how much punishment Frankie takes? He is an awesome fighter but one of his most invaluable traits is his chin and his recovery. Teaching someone else the same style is......not wise I feel like

The insurance is only for injuries sustained DURING training or during fights. It's actually pretty bullshit insurance, but it's a hell of a lot better than nothing, and way better than before

agree completely

I love Tom but Gary needs to go elsewhere to work on his striking. Training at Tom's place, or at Gary's new place isn't going to take his striking to the level it needs to be at. Tom's striking isn't at the level it needs to be at either

And BJJ artists without takedowns are helpless. Wrestling IS grappling. How do you think Cain got that black belt so quickly? Because of his basis in wrestling. Look at the dominant wrestlers, the majority of their wrestling skills directly crossover

LOLOL! People scared to comment on a female fighter's attractiveness? ON B.E??!! Surely you are joking. That's the majority of the comments on articles regarding even mildly attractive females. Perhaps the article hasn't been up long enough

Even with PED usage he had to work his ass off. Do you think he simply injected, ate a horsemeat t-bone, then blew up? No, he worked his ass off

I would argue that it's actually wrestling that is the core of MMA. And I think the champions and contenders from nearly every division show that....

Perhaps you should listen to what Steven A. actually said rather than read clif notes of it. There was no victim blaming going on, and he was forced to backpedal on an accurate and honest statement due to bullshit PC pressure
