Would ACC Tournament Bye hurt us?

In thinking about how RPI works and how we desperately need to improve ours, I think getting a top-4 bye would hurt us in RPI.

If RPI is mostly based on record of who you play, would it not benefit us to get lets say the 5 or 6 seed, play an ACC bottom feeder, which we would hopefully win. This would give us an extra win, and the next round we would then play a top seed, which would further help our RPI based on that team's likely high SOS.

On the other hand, if we get a top 4 seed, we sit out a game, then play a victor from the first round, and potentially lose. We almost didnt make the tourny last year because of losing to NC State, while a 5 seed would have notched us a likely extra win vs Wake, who we destroyed.

Santonio Holmes still be trolling

I counted at least 6 dropped passed by Holmes in the game, (4 of which were not counted because of questionable pass interference calls, and 1 which resulted in Holmes literally folding his arms and pouting like a little kid due to lack of a call). By the end of the game it seemed like he was not even trying to make a reception despite how silly that sounds, expecting to get away simply with taking advantage of the new refs propensity to call pass interference for him.

I cannot wait for him to be off the team, I hated him from the moment we got him even when he made great plays, he has always been a jerk and continues to be one even while failing to perform. Tanny really F'd up on that one. Be gone with him.

Will Jets use Wildcat coming off bye week?

The Jets worked with Kerley during preseason reimplementing the wildcat with him. While only 1 preseason game, it seemed to work well, even showing that Kerley could throw at least as well as Brad Smith if not better.

I have been surprised with how anemic the offense has been at times that this has not been used once. Do people expect it to be employed vs the Bills, if even to give the Pats something to think about the following week?
