Bleed Cubbie Blue Halladay's No hitter

Did anyone notice that the ball hit the bat after the bat was dropped in fair territory on the 27th out?  The home plate ump spread his arms in a "safe/foul/dead ball" way and when the runner was thrown out at first the first base ump didn't do anything to signify an out being made?  Maybe it was a delayed call, but perhaps he didn't want to be responsible to breaking up a no hitter (a la earlier this season with the perfect game) and instead just let everyone assume it was the last out, no hitter intact.  Any thoughts?

Koyie Hill, personal catcher

So the Cubs have a great record when Hill is behind the plate, right? So does that mean they lose the majority of their games with Soto back there?

Soriano vs. Good Pitching, Soriano vs. Bad Pitching

I remember seeing a while back a stat that showed Aaron Miles hitting really well against pitchers with a 5+ ERA and hitting terribly against pitchers with "good" ERAs. Does anyone know how Soriano does against said pitchers? This could explain his failures in the post season.

Soriano-afraid-running-wall

Does Soriano's defense at 2B really cost more runs than in LF? He makes a lot fewer errors in LF since misplays and mental mistakes aren't figured into the stats, but I have to imagine that his mistakes are more physical at 2B. Any thoughts? Is there a statistic on this?
